I gave only two rounds to Canelo, and even they were ones that could have easily gone the other way. 10-2 to Mayweather.

Alvarez has fairly decent offensive and defensive ability. I think what the people are going to fail to realize is that even though Cotto took some bad losses 3 years prior and Hatton was "best" at JWW when they fought Mayweather they were both seasoned and experienced veteran's who had already been in those types of situations. I personally only gave Alvarez 1 round but I dont think he's the Ortiz kind of fighter. Also don't sleep on a Mayweather-Cotto rematch next year right now I feel we all should agree Alvarez-Cotto is a 50/50 fight.

You must be joking. A 50/50 fight? Cotto got wrecked by Trout, and Canelo beat Trout by UD. Canelo would walk through Cotto at this point.

    10-2 Floyd

And that is about as generous as I can be to Canelo. Those 2 rounds were the ones that Floyd took off.

Im not even a Cotto fan and I've watched the Alvarez-Trout/Cotto-Trout fights a few times and I always end with 116-112/115-113 Trout for Cotto-Trout (thought Trout sweep 9-12 had it even before) and
114-114/114-113 Alvarez in Trout-Alvarez. Styles makes fights Cotto and Alvarez are both similar height weight Alvarez has reach Cotto has experience and though physially he's not prime Cottos iq/technical ability could make up for it. Have to see how he looks under roach but at this point Cotto should he beat Rodriguez and if Alvarez can take the IBF Belt off Molina it could set up a defense of Mayweathers newly won Undisputed JMW Title. Because thinking logically the only fights i see big enough for Mayweather at JMW right now should they get a good win vs each other is Mayweather-Cotto II (In somes opinions his toughest fight in years) or Mayweather-Alvarez II(Young Champ biggest star in Mexico currently).

8-4 Money. The Showtimes guys were very bias though. It is understandable since chants USA got booed in the middle of the USA.

So the real winner is Canelo for he has a lot people behind him. Money just buys hoes. They will leave him like rats sinking ship when he starts loosing. Money is a very good fighter but his fights are very boring. He just cannot produce excitement in the ring. I guess most of his excitement he uses outside of the ring.

It was just too early for Canelo. It is like Wladimir KlitschKO v Deontay Wilder instead of Povetkin on October 5.
