Danny 'Swift' Garcia - Underrated. *spoiler*

Thought both guys were fantastic. I feel Lucas team let him down with there lack of equipment in corner to deal with swelling.

The swelling changed the fight there was a 3 round swing where Garcia rattled off combinations and took control.

I felt for Lucas because on another day he beats Garcia there both evenly matched and both warriors. A tremendous battle and i hope Lucas comes again because he's had some rough justice even last night the KD was harsh on him with the rope over his head.

Garcia didn't shock me chin wise i knew the kid was tough and his boxing was good as well. He's a class kid and i hope he gets matched well i don't want him to be fed to Mayweather.

 

I don't think he'll view it as being fed. For anyone who fights Floyd its a win-win as they get a big payday and lose to the best there is whilst their profile in boxing skyrockets

 

But not many are the same afterwards.

Agree with this although i'd like to see a rematch, thought Garcia got away with countless low-blows which kept stopping the action in his favour.

The 11th obviously changed the fight, Matthysse was on a roll and won the 10th and winning the 11th pretty big but the knockdown changed everything.

Had Lucas won the 10th, 11th and 12th i would have had it the fight a draw on my scorecard and if the 1 point deduction had still taken place in the 12th then a 114-113 to Matthysse.

 

Garcia should forget about Maywether, focus on peterson broner etc to sharpe up his skills, not ready for the likes of devon, bradley or marquez.

 

Angel Garcia is underrated as well, doing a great job as a trainer and motivator. Gets a lot of **** on this site and its mostly deserved as he is a twat but give credit where its due guys.

 

Yeah he's right up there with Billy the bullshitter Nelson.

 

He gave some great advice in between rounds last night, he knows his ****. he is a nutter no doubt but he knows Boxing.

Yeah but i view it as being fed. 12 months time with a bit more experience and development and Floyd a year and possibly two fights more down the line it's worth taking.

But money talks and he will take it as you say.

Floyd supposedly dislocated his elbow midway through last night so possibly out for a while..

 

I actually thought the Matthysse's corner did well with the swelling

 

Yeah didn't think so on the night be on reset they actually get that eye open for about a minute each round.
