Floyd haters: Isn't it about time to discuss him in the same breath as SRR?

What more does Floyd need to do to be favorably compared to SRR

SRR gave me boxing tips, so he has a special place in heart, but to do what Floyd's been doing so masterfully, one would have to be blind (or prejudiced) not to acknowledge it.

It will never happen ..Floyd and SRR don't belong in the same sentence together unless your just talking about boxers in general !

As you know better than anyone, JG - SRR dared to push the boundaries, to find out what his breaking point was. Greatness reveals itself in the face of adversity, and so while Mayweather is a blinding talent, we may never get to grips with his true worth because he will not put himself in a situation where he is anything less than a 3/1 on favourite.

If times were different, money wasn't his god, and he had a nice sit down n' chat with the likes of Mickey Walker, then perhaps we could drop Floyd's name in the same sentence with the Sugar man.

people just say dumb **** like this because they don't wanna elevate the guy. Stop being a parrot and repeating Hearns/Hagler over and over.

Floyd doesn't deserve to be spoken in the same sentence as SRR.

Mayweather was less than a 3/1 favorite in this fight. Furthermore, what fights was Robinson in,when he was on top, where he wasn't the favorite?

Would you expand on your thinking, I? I, for one, am quick to admit, I wanted somebody to wipe the floor with Floyd (teach him a lesson), but he's the one that teaches the master class 'n deserves all the props he gets.

    Wow, high praise JG.

Skill wise, I'd say absolutely. He's one of the greatest I've ever seen, and I've seen them all.

Well Floyd is like THE most studied fighter. I mean they have been looking to beat him since 1997 and it's 16 years since then.

Are you guys kidding me? Obviously we are looking at a top 10 atg when he's done without a shred of doubt.
