Just sayin. It was painfully obvious after a few rounds that Canelo wasnt going produce any offense to trouble floyd and that he was content standing in the middle of the ring trying to outbox him. canelo was so offensively helpless that he was allowing himself to be backed up in an effort to try and find an opening that just wasnt going to show itself. I know of no hand issues with floyd in this fight and it was clear that he could land at will when he wanted to. He could have thrown the kid a very bad beating if he really wanted to step on the gas. floyd mentioned this as well and it wasnt just typical post fight talk. thoughts?
i don't necessarily mean a ko even though floyd said he couldve gotten it had he wanted to. i just mean that he could have really battered canelo. there was nothing to stop him defensively and nothing coming back at him offensively to give him pause.
If Floyd could've done more damage an "battered" Canelo as you say, he would have. Floyd did not want to take the risk and possibly get hit hit flush
the only way you don't risk getting hit flush is not getting into the ring in the first place. there's always a risk. fighting is all about calculated risks. it was painfully obvious that the risk you speak of was very low. floyd is the reason floyd didnt really beat the brakes off canelo. canelo had nothing to do with it.
This happens after every fight "He was on his way to stopping Judah until the low blow..." "Could have KO'd Marquez but decided to play it safe..." "Could have KO'd Mosley had he pushed for it.." "Let Cotto off the hook in the 12th round.." "Hurt his hand against Guerrero" and now this? Stop. Just stop.
you're trying to tell me that you watched that fight and think that was as bad as it could have been. stop. just stop noob.
