Lara can beat Mayweather

After watching Catchweather dominating a green as a cucumber and weight drained Canelo yesterday, I'm convinced that the only way to beat a Floyd in stick-and-move mode is to be able to match his footspeed. Canelo had enough handspeed, ability to anticipate, and surprisingly, at least enough stamina to make the fight competitive for around 6 rounds, at that point Floyd took control and Canelo's stamina problems became evident.

But I think Saul's main problem was his footwork, he might be 23yo but gawd, he moves his feet as if he was 40. Floyd was always controlling the distance keeping Canelo away from him, and Canelo just couldn't move his feet fast enough to close the gap and unleash his combos or to keep Mayweather pinned to the ropes long enough to make damage. If Canelo had the same footspeed as someone like Pacquiao for example, he would have given Mayweather hell.

Erislandy Lara would be Mayweather's worst stylistical nightmare from 140-154 lbs, a slickster with plenty of athletic ability, speed in both hand and feet, great defensive skills and counter-punching ability, truckloads of experience due to an extensive amateur career, and one of the best footwork in the game, fast and precise enough to match Mayweather's specially considering the difference in size between these two

Right now, Lara is the only fighter from 140-154 that can beat Floyd. Garcia, Bradley, Broner, Khan, etc none of these bitches have a snowball's chance in hell. And that's precissely why Floyd will duck Lara instead of defending the 154 belts against him, like a truly prospective ¨GOAT¨¨Better than Robinson¨etc, should do.

Dear Floyd: Grow a pair and fight Lara plz

^Lara is a good fighter but he's nowhere near Floyd's level of talent and skill. He was in the fight of his life against a very slow Angulo.

Lara has already had several losses against guys he was supposed to dominate.

He's a good boxer, but would be severely outclassed in a 154 lb fight against the P4P king.

Still that fight couldn't happen because Lara has done NOTHING to be spoken about as a potential challenger. He has no fanbase outside of the hardcore fans and he honestly doesn't look like he would be able to challenge Floyd in any manner. And just so you know, Floyd has him beat quite handily in footspeed, handspeed, counterpunching and defense. He's just an exponentially superior boxer on a technical level compared to Lara.

Look, I am as much of a Floyd hater as anyone, and here's the reality : NO ONE from 140 to 154 has a hope against Mayweather. Floyd's only real opponent is father time, who is undefeated in ALL weight classes. But until F.T. comes knockin', Floyd retains his 0.

Lara could get back into the mix by being an opponent for Canelo

Problem with that is, Floyd can do it all. if Lara decides to box, Floyd CAN & WILL cut the ring off and land his shots. Get used to the fact that Mayweather is head & shoulders above everyone.

There's always going to the next monster that will beat Floyd... Floyd essentially wants this, hype him up and hopefully he can fight and beat cotto and canelo that leads to
    Mayweather...

Instead of thinking about Mayweather Lara should take on GGG and derail the hype. He is ble to imo.
