Floyd is one of the best. I never said Canelo was. However, Canelo is more proven than GGG.

Ok you're not saying anything. Lets go over this again, here's the nonsense:

Do you see how this is stupid from several sides? I mean, I gave you Rigo and you had to read his mind and try to qualify somehow.

Besides, GGG has been trying to fight his Donaire in Martinez for a long time, it's just that Martinez' promoter is terrified:

"Sergio will be out for at least a year. You saw his last fight, he won it on guts and will and balls alone. He had no knee, he had no hand, and I'm not sending a champion who is 38-years-old - after a year plus layoff - into a ring with this guy. I'm not saying they will never fight. I'm not speaking for Sergio, who is a grown as man and controls his own career. The successor to Sergio Martiknez has already been determined and the next great middleweight is Triple G."

More proven at what exactly? This "proven" stuff is just a cop-out. What does Canelo actually do better than Golovkin that would be relevant in a fight against Mayweather? Does he have better offensive footwork? Does he have a better jab? Does he have better power? What?

Canelo fought a dumb fight against Mayweather. In another thread a while back, I said that if Canelo tries to box Mayweather, Mayweather will take him to school, which is what happened. He should have pressured Mayweather from the opening bell and made his size and strength an issue. Instead, he let Mayweather fight at his own pace and at a comfortable distance for most of the fight. He threw away the only advantages he had, which were his size, power, and strength.

At the very least, Golovkin would not fight that fight. Golovkin would be trying to hunt down Mayweather the entire fight. Mayweather would have to keep moving the entire time. He definitely wouldn't be in the center of the ring walking Golovkin down at a leisurely pace. I think Golovkin would keep the jab pumping and it would give Floyd all kinds of problems, preventing him from being able to rest and get his own offense going. The jabs that buckled Rosado's legs might put Floyd on the canvas.

I don't even want to see Golovkin fight Floyd at 154. It should be at 160, where both can be comfortable. Floyd should move up to 160 and try to prove his claim of being the best ever. Golovkin is about 20 lbs heavier than Floyd in the ring. Floyd could put on a little weight, he's a thin guy. And historically, a 20 lb difference isn't that much. Guys like Greb, Burley and others faced much more than that. Floyd says he's the best ever, right? Then get your ass in the ring. :deal

GGG is a two time Olympic champion, Floyd never fought someone like that.

Why so emotional? Ward and Hopkins are willing to drop to 160 for the big money Floyd fight, but then Floyd wuld have to move up. GGG offers to drop to SWW, seems even more fair on Floyd.

He is 150 pounds on fightnight you moron :patsch
Explain me how he can not drop 10 pounds while Garcia can? ****, even Matthysse, Peterson, Bradley, Hopkins regularly rehydrate 10+ pounds.
Even Martinez gained 10 pounds for Dzinziruk.

    Floyd would whoop GGG. 117-113.
If i remember correctly then GGG is not that big of a mw, only 165 pounds. Same as Alvarez.

They were both highly rated fighters in his division with a built in fanbase. What does Golovkin bring to the table? Don't get me wrong, he's a very talented fighter. However, he doesn't fight in Mayweather's division, there isn't much clamor for this fight, he's a lot bigger than Mayweather, and he fights in front of sparse crowds and doesn't have much of a fan base. Pretend you're Mayweather. Why in the world would you chose to fight Golovkin when you can make more money fighting Garcia? Remember, Garica is Floyd's size, he's a lineal champ, and he's rated higher than Golovkin.
