He weighed more in the ring against Mayweather than he did against Josesito Lopez, which was the fight right before Trout.

    Try harder at trolling.

That's not it. People should be able to have an intelligent boxing discussion. There's very much a mob mentality after this particular Money Mayweather fight.

It was to be expected, I knew it would happen after the catchweight was announced. These days, substance is hard to find. You gotta really look for it. I try to discern what is really going on and have a thought provoking discussion about it. What happens is people take sides. You got the Mayweather fans and the Canelo fans, and each side is going to fight for their guy. When their guys wins, they brag, when their guy loses, they make excuses.

I don't really have a "guy" that I root for. I try not to get into that. All I want to see is a legitimate fair competition. I'm not downplaying Floyd's accomplishment. I said I thought he won the the actual match. But I wouldn't be honest if I didn't point out where the problems are.

Dude, what you dont understand. The belt was specially made for this fight. It was a BRAND FUGGING NEW BELT! Floyd was holding for the photo op. Did you notice during the weight in that Floyd was having Canelo hold the belt for the photo op and he declined like a dumbass!

Stop being on denial. Floyd schooled the hypejob. Canelo had no answer, catch weight or not, it made no diference. Unofficial weight had Canelo at 165+, a whole 15+lbs over FMJr. STOP!

Not sure what everyone else is on about...
But Floyd's most effective tactic was his rolling right hand.

which is funny because isn't the jab the big piece for DLH's blueprint on how to beat floyd?

DLH had a better jab than Canelo. It was one of Oscar's best punches. The problem with Oscar was, once he got Floyd to the ropes he was lost on how to follow it up and land the big shots.

Also, I think it is a credit to Mayweather more than it is a diss on Canelo. Mayweather was the quicker man, and utilized his footwork to force resets and get his jab off first. It really took Canelo off his game IMO.

I thought Canelo's corner should have been more forceful with him to answer a jab with a jab immediately.
