Jazza Dickens V Kid Galahad purse bids for English title

It's easy for him to call out quigg and frampton because its going to be near impossible to make those fights with the 2 of them being ahead of him and also with the obvious tv problems. I could understand all the talk if he was enhilating people but he scraped through last night and then talks like he's floyd

 

There was a thread on here started by one of Dickens' mates about 6 months ago bragging off about Dickens snubbing Galahad at a weigh-in when Galahad tried to shake his hand.

Lets put it this way it was hardly a career defining moment. I would have a little more respect if he didn't run his mouth so much but he thinks he's so much better than he is in reality. Fat mick won't let him near frampton

KG is a very slippery, tricky, awkward customer who will give most opponents a lot of trouble. But let's not forget what happened. He beat the fairly limited (no disrespect) Jazza Dickens in a competitive fight.

Frampton would have slaughtered Dickens.

Kid Galahad probably runs off his mouth because it's the best way to get attention and make the big money. He's an unabashed Naseem Hamed fan, impersonator even, so that is what it is.
Besides, there's nothing wrong with being confident.

Can't really fault his performance too much, because Dickens is actually a good fighter and most people expected it to be a tough fight .... some thought Dickens would win.

KG is a very promising boxer. I don't like this "he thinks he's better than he is" stuff that always gets thrown around .... sure, some fighters deserve that criticism, but when they are young improving prospects who are coming along nicely, progressing and stepping up suitably, it's just silly to knock them for being confident. We don't really know how good they will become.
I would say the same in defense of Eubank Jr. and Tyson Fury too.

 

You're dead right, when Frampton's next fight is an IBF eliminator which will see him mandatory for the Martinez vs Mathebula winner, then why in the World would they want to take on a British level fighter who's got nothing to offer really ?

Big Mick was spouting off about Frampton's team won't want him etc, but he knows the same. They know Carl would smash him, but they also know Carl will be too busy moving up levels to hang around for a fight with Galahad, so they'll use this to try and make it seems like he'll duck Galahad.

 

Sorry mate there's a difference between being confident and being a dik. Also I'm a floyd mayweather fan but I don't actually think that I'm him

I dont get too involved in what boxer's say / do / dont do in the build up or what they say after.

I like to watch them fight and see who wins, that's where all th real talking happens.

I think Galahad controlled that fight pretty well, he got tagged with a few but IMO was in control, he was told to go out and stop him and that's exactly what he did.

He had more in the tank and the ability to pull it off when asked to.

 

Jury still out on KG...Yes he is good, tricky, slippery awkward etc....but history has shown time and time again that guys with very "unconventional" styles tend to fail at the highest level against more conventional fighters...
Eg Barrera v Naz......McCallum v herrol Graham....
Now he is not THAT unconventional himself, so he could be the exception, but I would need to see more of him before I'm entirely convinced.....
At the moment Quigg and particularly Frampton must be rated above him....doubt either of them lost any sleep last Saturday night...

 

Young jazza will bounce back after this , im sickend knowing the kid and what he has had to deal with that he gets called a drug user , its a very very sad world sometimes we live in

 

Galahad is domestic level and little more.

Frampton would flat out crush this kid.
