Hunter concerned about Khan's commitment

Khan should never have taken the Garcia fight. If he had moved up after the Peterson episode and took on a few easy touches at 147 the Mayweather fight would have made sense and would have been an easier sell.

I'd watch Mayweather / Khan, it'd be an easy sell over here but I'm not sure American's would pay $70+ for it. Khan is the type of boxer everybody watches because he's always in a fun fight, but paying an extra amount for that, probably not.

Garcia v Alexander would be a close fight but your right I would give it to Garcia. I dont see anyone beating Garcia at the moment.
I guess that means Alexander is the second best boxer Khan has faced.

Made a thread about this a few months ago.

Khan just isn't and never will be a thinking fighter which is what Hunter wants him to be.

Khan is a pure instinctive fighter and the best trainer would just let him do what comes naturally to him.

You just have to accept he's going to get knocked down occasionly, what he needed to learn more then anything is what to do when he get's knocked down to survive.

 

terminator x hit nail on head.....i was at Khan v Diaz fight and that could have went either way yet it was meant to be a pretty easy night but he got smashed all around the ring by a guy i am pretty sure he would have easily beaten a few years ago...
