I knew they were trying to set him up. I said before the fight PBF would need to beat Canelo by 9-3 or better in order to win. Had the fight been 8-4 or closer he would have been robbed for sure.:-(

Cotto did better then Canelo. Anyone who seen both fights can clearly see the difference. Canelo looked lost against Mayweather. Cotto never looked that way and fought a lot harder then Canelo did.

I had Mayweather-Cotto 7-4-1 (116-113) watching it live... 116-112 upon rewatch. Mayweather-Alvarez 120-108 all the way, I saw Alvarez land only one clean power punch on Mayweather all night

Cotto always had that problem. Some people get swollen and bleed faster that others. And after his fight with Margarito it got even worst.

That said, there is a big difference. Canelo can still improve. Cotto is in way out.

You could argue that Pac won almost every round vs. Bradley. May be Bradley won 2 rounds? If they want to rob you they will. These judges are just plan incompetent. Especially that Ross judge. She should be never allowed near a boxing ring.

I agree, half way. Pac looked off in that fight. Like he wasn't aggressive. Pacquiao and Floyd excel in two different ways.

    Pacquiao by aggression, and workrate.

Floyd, by defense, clean counters, and efficiency.

Pac definitely deserved to win that fight.

I think the judges had it close based on bradleys workrate, and how non chalant Pac was.

Still a robbery, but I can make the argument that Floyd not getting the wide UD against Canelo is a bigger mess up than Pac not getting the win VS Bradley.

Pretty much everyone in the world has this fight as a shut out.

    Everyone.

Canelo won the 8th round. The 12th can't go to Floyd because he ran and didn't engage so that rounds a draw. It wasn't a shut out.

What has Alverez ever done to be considered as good as a prime Cotto. Nothing in my view. Televisa has been building a myth around Canelo for years. It's no different to Simon Cowell and the X-Factor. Alverez would lose fights at 160. He'll probably go after Barker.

cotto/floyd was much more competitive and the scores didn't reflect that.

canelo/floyd was much less competitive adn the scores didn't reflect that.

cotto landed more...put intelligent pressure....made floyd miss the most he's ever missed and was competitive throughout. floyd never backed cotto into the ropes the way he was able to do canelo.
