18 million to fight a guy coming off a loss who has never fought at WW before?

Yeah, I'd be all over that too.

Get your fact straight. Its not free in china. Its still a PPV fight but only for about $5 in US money. Zou, China's most popular fighter is in the card so this could sell in a country with 1 billion people.

A fighter pays his promoter no matter what. Arum is promoting this fight so Pac pays him 27%, Rios is a top rank fighter so he also pays Arum his contracted fee.

If Pac fights on another promoters card then Arum only takes half the profits but only pays half the promotional fees. Fighters still pay in full regardless. Promoters benefit from in house fights not the fighters themselves.

Arum is a complete slime ball who probably has most if not all of his fighters in Don King-esque slave contracts.

At $5 a pop, that's an extra $5m. So Manny gets, what, maybe $1m from that?

Both of this is ass backwards. Like, sentence 1, 2, 3 are totally out there, nothing to do with the real world.

He was offered 40m to fight this fall?

Besides, you should learn, 40m was an offer to TR to split with Pac, since he's under contract. In that case you take off 27%, and Pac is left with a 10% raise over JMM and Bradley, which is a shocking offer for the biggest money in boxing.
