Pacquiao is still the most interesting opponent for Floyd now - agree?

Nobody can argue against Floyd's boxing ability - he's second to none.

And yes, Floyd vs Manny would have been most interesting maybe around 2009.

But if you look at the list of potential opponents out there now, I still think Manny poses the biggest threat/generates most hype and money. Even more so if he knocks out Rios.

    Who else is there?

Bradley - I don't know if he can beat JMM (who we know won't fight Floyd again)

Khan - Not even in the same species of class, but it would generate a lot of money, UK ppv etc.

Garcia - Would make for a good fight and hype, but Floyd schools him.

I know a fight with Manny has very little chance of being made but it's still the most interesting fight out there for Floyd at this moment - especially after beating Canelo.

    Thoughts?

Pac still would be the best fight in terms of interest.

Only guy with the speed to make it interesting, Kahn has had too many poor fights now.

Yes Pac is still the most intresting to answer the question. The fight wont happen unless pac leaves Arum and he'll never do that so lets forget about the fight

If he defeats Rios convincingly, then yea, still interesting but at this stage it will feel like an injustice for floyd to feed on damaged goods

I don't know about the *****s or everyone else playing revisionist history all of a sudden.
Floyd won a fight everyone with a decent boxing IQ knew he would win, and he did in usual boring fashion, are we supposed to elevate him to top 10 ATG based on that ****??

where are the ****ing standards? listen the only real fights any objective fan gives a damn about for Floyd are Pac at 147, Martinez at 154, and Golovkin AT 154.

but its not about the best challenge its about who they can market, which is why a just excellent fighter in Canelo was hyped beyond his real worth or chance.

they can Market Paquiao Americans and sports fans know who he is but he has to smash Rios to bits which he is very capable of.

He's lost arguably his last three bouts. I think we need to see him against a real contender (ie. not Rios) first.

Watch the buzz go crazy once again if Pac dominates Rios. People have short term memories. They only remember a fighter's most recent fight.

He got knocked out against JMM last year - it happens and was justice for their third fight. But Manny took it like a man and congratulated JMM.

He beat Bradley regardless of what anyone else says. And I think he'd beat him in a rematch.

I do think if he smashes Rios all the talk will be "get him in with Floyd!"

2 consecutive "L's" = out of the TMT sweepstakes.
    (Really 3 "L's")
