id be interested to know why people are happy to rate Frank Buglioni above Eubank when Eubank has beaten better fighters seems like a fury price situation where everyone likes Price so he is a world beater and nobody likes Fury so hes shite.

This is exactly it, it's to do with liking and disliking and not really about the boxer.

I understand, we all have likes / dislikes favourite boxers but dont let it get in the way of your opinion.

so is eubank jnr v cameron confirmed? good fight if so. eubank jnr gets a horrendous rap on here but is a good prospect and i would see him beating cameron on points by a few rounds in a great competitive fight

    Be a good fight.

I'd edge Eubank Jr just to sneak it though ................ as the Eubank Sr starts to tire at his ripe old age of 47.

I think Eubank is developing some power, if so im sorry but hes going to go quite far up the world rankings.

The guy on saturday was a live opponent. This isnt an indication as to how far Eubank Jr could go but still valid.

I'm cautious when talking about guys like Eubamk Jnr, Calum Smith, Frank Buglioni etc it isn't hard for someone with a bit of talent to look great against these journeyman, alot will come down to heart and hunger aswell, how will they react in there first bit of serious trouble. Eubank though seems to be improving, he's easy to hit at times but I'm not writing him off yet.

Like i said last week after the burns fight and got murdered for, we hype prospects up too quick then demand they step up and forget about them when they lose.

This school of thinking has pretty much cost David Price his career. Now David Price is a bum in most peoples eyes, a bum who cant take a shot.

Which is why you took the total opposite approach with Eubank Jr and wrote him off instead?

No but we shouldnt hype people who have done nothing in the first place.

Look through this thread people are already saying hes going to be world champion

Agreed but you were writing him off when he hadnt shown any particular reason to do so. This is just as bad.

Ask these same people their thoughts on all our prospects, unfortunately they will make the same lofty claims. They all needed to be treated as they are-prospects.

Hoping they do well is something we should be doing but not 'predicting'
