when did Manny agreed to everything? the earliest I saw was when he was on ESPN with JMM in September.

what's the middle of 30 days and no cut off day? probably why Floyd didn't accept the 24 days

    You're entitled to your opinion.

But Bob Arum met with Floyd last year.

Why would he have done that, if he didn't want Manny to fight him, because he thought that Floyd would have beaten him?

Exactly, this end thread. Manny has, rightly or wrongly been labeled a cheater by many within boxing for something Mayweather is just as likely to be guilty of.

from what i gather...Arum met with Floyd in Nov 2012....when Pacquiao had a fight signed up and was training for against JMM. Negotiations at that point would be moot.
And has this been verified by any chance? Arum's known for "yesterday I was lying, today I'm telling the truth" so anything he says I'm a bit skeptic about.

edit: what are you guys talking about "who is floyd to demand those things"...it's a negotiation. everyone has their demands...this just happened to be his main one. It would have been a non issue had Pac's camp turned it down from the get go. The iffiness started when they first accepted without hesitation and then immediately started backpedaling.

I don't think Pac was ever on any juice. Floyd Sr. thought so which probably influenced Jr. greatly into asking for additional testing. It's well within his rights to do so.

also, SO WHAT HAS NSAC BEEN ALLOWING FLOYD TO GET AWAY WITH?

I see you're back from your little hole you crawled out of after PBF gave your boy the business.:rofl:lol: What happened to Canelo knocking PBF out? Once again you prove that you're a irrational PBF hater and don't know **** about the sport.

The difference is PBF has taken random tests to prove he's clean for several fights while Pac is just now taking them for Rios and avoided them for years.:deal

    Hi mate,

I think Floyd granting a 24 day cut off, would have been meeting him half way, seen as he'd agreed to be OSDT'd in the first place, and there was no evidence to suggest he was dirty.

You say that Floyd was trying to make the fight. But last year, Manny finally gave in, and granted Floyd what he'd always wanted. Yet it still wasn't enough.

    Things are different today.

Lots of fighters are being asked to partake in testing.

But Manny was labelled as a cheat, with no proof, and I think part of his decision, was to not back down to Floyd, because he's got a huge ego like Floyd, and he didn't want to be dictated to.

I think that definitely played a part.

It got to a stage where each guy wanted the last word, and they started trying to score points against each other.

What I said was, Arum met Floyd, and he wouldn't have done if he hadn't have been interested.

Manny agreed to all demands, and a lower percentage of the purse.

I don't know what was said in the actual meeting, obviously, but we know that Floyd offered a flat fee, in return for all of the PPV earlier on in the year.

When he agreed to all testing, and a 45% share of the purse in Sept.

    What do you mean HOW?

Floyd just had to make weight, which is routine for him.

Whereas Manny would have been randomly tested at any point within a 9 week period.

    Huge difference.

It's not a negative, if it's laid down on the table at the first round of negotiations and discussed in a professional manner.

Floyd didn't have any testing demands at first.

It was only after Floyd Snr's outburst, that Floyd then issued OSDTing demands.

He backed Manny into a corner. He was labelled as a cheat, and had demands thrown at him.

Then the following year, he was called a yellow chump, who ate power pellets etc.

Of course this is all acceptable behaviour to Floyd's fans.
