15 rds i'd go mike, 12 i can see being a close decision, i'll still pick mike but could see floyd taking a controversial decision in a close bout where mike doesn't connect to the head enough.
Canelo isn't a bum by any means...dumb ass comment. Mike McCallum was a tremendous Junior Middleweight, would be too strong for Floyd at the weight. McCallum by clear decision. If the two were the same size...The pick would be Mayweather...
All this dick sucking of Floyd (which happens to any fighter nowadays after winning but is twice as bad when its him) needs to stop. Canelo wasn't a bum but I doubt he's going to be anything other than a ok fighter when he retires. Why even say the bolded part? If Frazier and Duran were the same size Duran would win.
McCallum stopped Ayube Kalule in the 7th. He stopped Julian Jackson in the 2nd. He stopped Milton McCrory in the 10th. He stopped Donald Curry in the 5th. He systematically broke down Michael Watson and stopped him in the 11th. He outboxed Sumbu Kalamba twice in my opinion... in reality one close decision loss and one close decision win. Both fights in Europe. He outboxed Herol Graham. He outboxed Steve Collins. He outboxed James Toney twice in my opinion. In reality D12 and LMD12. He gave Roy Jones a bit of trouble in a decision loss when he was 40. After the fight Jones said that LHWs might be a little too big... even though McCallum came up from JMW and was an old man. He even beat Jeff Harding at LHW.
From what we've seen so far of him, calling him a bum is not so dumb. He's highly overrated by the media and I feel sad for anyone who thinks he's the new face of boxing.
Fair enough on your opinion and Garrus as well...Didn't I said, he was the "new face" of boxing in my post. I think Canelo is a developing fighter who performed better against Mayweather than some of his previous opponents...Nuff said. Time will tell how Canelo goes forward from the experience.
I have to disagree with you, again. In my opinion, he didn't perform better than Cotto or Guerrero did.
