The Martinez who defeated Chavez Jr
    would defeat Floyd.

They wanted canelo to win so bad they just can't accept it. If the fight was at 154' they would still find something (Floyd was running all night, what happend to toe to toe). Canelo didn't display anything to make me believe if the fight was at 154' and he wasn't so called drained at 172' the outcome would have been any different. Canelo failed to get off, let a 36yr mayweather get off first set the pace of the fight. He's the younger fighter, ther is no excuse to let mayweather get off first.

Not only did Floyd get off first all night, he stood right in front of canelo and gave him different looks all night. Canelo had the wrong game plan, trying to out box a master boxer. But maybe that's credit to mayweather, everytime canelo would try to get off Floyd would counter him with a clean neck snapping punch ( that didn't hurt him or his busted eye) that stopped canelo from even really trying to use his size by applying pressure.

Floyd would make Martinez miss all night and be able to land his punches easily. Martinez has horrible defense relies on his speed and footwork but lacks basic boxing Fundamentals. Martinez gets away with it because he's a sensational athlete but its going to take more then just athleticism to beat Floyd. Martinez doesn't have the boxing IQ to even contend with Floyd and his body is failing him, take away Martinez athleticism and he ain't shi.

    that Martinez doesn't exist anymore

he died that same night, ruined by la vaca de dinero

all that's left now is a washed up 39yo man with a bum knee

who got beaten by a handpicked nobody :-(

Martinez is very fast and throws a lot of combinations.
Floyd would definitely get some of those which
would really hurt him like it did hurt Paul Williams.

What a dumb thread. I rather see a Christy Martin fight than this pointless rematch
