if floyd wants to be compared to sugar ray robinson he needs to go to middle im not asking him to go to heavyweight like srr did but floyd doesnt have the heart to he is a coward
He's a coward so he won't do it. He navigated through his entire boxing career picking off opponents at the right moments and facing opponents that fit his style. He will never be compared to SRR, what kind of joke is that?
If he wants to be compared to PAC he has to fight at heavyweight. Floyd: What PAC is doing is as if I was knocking out heavyweight.
(OP) What...are you talking about? Floyds 1st pro title was at 130lbs. His prime weight is between 130-140. 147-154 are his highest weights classes that as an older fighter he has grown into. There is no need to go higher, just face the best available comp in his weight range. If Floyd gets beat it shouldn't be because he gave away too much size. This doesn't prove who the best of the best is.
Robinson really only fought at Light Heavyweight once. His famous loss taking on the champ Maxim and retiring on the stool from exhaustion in the 13th. Robinson weighed in twice below 135 pounds in his whole career. Mayweather defended the 130 lineal title 8 times. Big difference. Robinson also never weighed below 145 pounds after he turned 21 years old. Robinson was naturally a bigger man, but all is further irrelevant in the direct comparison due to weigh ins being moved to the day before the fight.
Pac is still the fight that needs to happen, unless Pac shows he's completely washed up in the Rios bout.
It's amazing how many people out there worship what Floyd says as literal, believe all things boxers and Floyd say is the truth, and preach it further time and time again as gospel.
i would like to see floyd fight a light heavyweight ahahah and it was not any light heavyweight he was a champion and go look at the fight srr nealy won the title
Can you repeat this to the *****s? They're proven time and time again to be wrong with facts but they have a hard time getting off Mayweather's *****. It's like the ***** blocks out their common sense and can't comprehend anything logical. :rofl
In his first 123 fights, Robinson had lost only once ' to Jake LaMotta At his peak, his record was 128-1-2 with 84 knockouts. hahaha imagine if floyd fought 80 more times his record will not look as good ahhahahaha
I agree Floyd doesn't NEED to fight at Middleweight, but if he did beat Golovkin it would be a monumental achievement that surely even his harshest critics should acknowledge.
If Floyd fought and beat GGG he would be an "undefeated tomato can crusher from Europe whose best win is Macklin and his next best wins are over nobody who was in the top 10."
