Right now it would do around Ghost/Floyd numbers but if marketed right for at least a year or so Broner maybe FLoyd's biggest B-side(other than Pac) at welter.

there's no way it'd do around the numbers of Guerrero. Broner's fight with Paulie had more viewers than Canelo/Trout on Showtime. Broner is a relatively big draw and the buildup with him and Floyd would intrigue many casual fans.

I think the fight could reach 1.5 million range

Broner is a big draw on FREE TV. PPV is a different animal.

You're crazy if you think that fight would do 1.5 fight now:lol: Even Cotto, Mosely and JMM barely got there.

As P.M. mentioned, noone believes Broner is a threat to FLoyd right
now and the PPV numbers would show that.

As I stated, let's see what Broner does in the next year or so. Until then
    I stand by my point.

Right now, I think it could push maybe above 1.25 million, just short of 1.5 million.

Keep this in mind about the poor sells of Mayweather-Guerrero: there was close to zero buzz before the fight. Guerrero was keeping out of the public eye because of the gun arrest, and Mayweather wasn't doing any interviews.

Broner is an attention ***** and would be obnoxious as anything to hype of the fight. Mayweather may be more subdued now, but Broner's antics would likely

All this spells more Showtime cameras around, more coverage before the fight, and a much bigger buildup than Mayweather-Guerrero.

Lack of international appeal hurts the potential, though.

  8. Every Black household in the US .. not sure how many. 200, 250 Million buys?

Mayweather is a bigger draw than he was there. Plus the story between Broner and Floyd combined with another battle of the undefeateds would bring big numbers. 1.5 may be much, but it wouldn't do worse than Ortiz (1.25 million)

It would do at least 1 million. Broner would make it more interesting than Robert Guerrero. He has more of a personality that could make it interesting. Plus it doesn't really matter that most of us think that Broner has no chance. The casuals don't know anything and will think "oh this guy is really fast and seems confident, i bet he can beat floyd"

It would do over 1.5 but less than 2 today bc Broner hasn't become popular enough. If Broner could mount a huge victory or two against a well known fighter that would be the only possibility of it doing over 2...even then I'm not sure if it could.

NO, Floyd is NOT "a bigger draw than he was there". Main reason his last fight did huge
PPV numbers, accept it or not, was CANELO. Why did FLoyd/ghost tank if FLoyd was bigger after COtto, Mosley and JMM?

Broner right now is basically a circus freak who gets a lot of attention for his antics. People don't mind watching that for free.
Right now Broner's PPV ability is a huge ?????

oh so Broner draws more viewers than Canelo does on free TV, but he's the one and NOT Canelo isn't worth ppv. I doubt Maidana/Broner sells very well, but Broner vs Mayweather would do very good numbers.

Broner is featured all the time on WorldStar and that's one of the most popular sites among african americans. My friends who are casual fans only know a hand full of fighters and Broner is on the short list for all of them.

Obviously you don't like him and or Mayweather so you're going to dismiss the star power

Two of the most hated active boxers of our era, the inevitable result being one of them (or both) lose their no losses/no draws resume... I think that **** would sell. Like 1.7m sales.
