I think Dave Parris had his scorecard filled out before the fight even began.

I did give him a few rounds I thought he was very good defensively but he just didn't throw enough and when he did Paul threw back! Just different opinions I guess?

Supposed to be 10.30 but probably more likely about 10.45/11pm.

All the fights going the distance which is pushing everything later.

  8. CET or UK time?

Once again, Chudinov is struggling to keep his momentum after starting quick, and Max Maxwell is putting up spirited resistance and landing clean with increasing frequency. Pretty good , competitive fight.

3-1 Chudinov, but you could make a case that Max took the last two based on cleaner punches landed.

Chudinov is well up halfway in, probably having swept all four. They're fighting in the pocket for all three minutes but there isn't much drama.

Maxwell simply can't match Chudinov's power and is throwing a bit less, concentrating on defense but stealing from Peter to settle up with Paul. (leaving his body open when he shells up, but getting hit on the head when he lowers his arms)

Chudinov is making no overtures of closing the show yet. I don't know that he'll be able to. Maxwell rarely gets hit more than a couple of times in a row and is notoriously sturdy besides.

I'm not really watching this one closely, but it seems to be a straightforward 4-0 for Chudinov and the commentators' avowed sentiments reflect that.

Credit to Max², he is having a sincere go and trying to bust up Chudinov's body with emphatic taste-of-his-own-medicine hooks. Equal heart; lesser talent.

I thought Max clearly took the fourth, personally. Still have Chudinov up c4-1, but in terms of fight dynamic, this is hardly a whitewash.

MM is showing guts and chin here.

So is Chudinov, for that matter.

Lest you think of calling him "Slapsie Maxie", if unfamiliar, let me disabuse you of the notion that he is a feather-fist. He is one of those guys that gets into a 'sparring partner mentality' and thus has grown complacent in (usually) losing decisions for a living. He boxes very defensively and doesn't much optimize his dig or ever try finishing anyone.

He did knock out current British and WBO Inter-Continental 154lb champion (soon to enter a world title eliminator) Brian Rose in Rose's only professional loss. Rose has a decent chin and has shown it mixing against quality opponents.

Maxwell also obviously has enough pop that, despite having been in with loads of prospects and contenders, he is able to get everyone's respect enough that nobody is walking through him and getting rid of him.
