Haye faked it with makeup bro. It's easy to do.

Watch Spartacus: Blood and Sand - severe sword slashes look real.

Will David Haye compensate Tyson Fury for his training costs? Sparring partners like Steve Cunningham & Eddie Chambers don't come cheap.

Wouldn't be suprised, there is no swelling bruising surrounding the area, just a perfect red line.

Listening to him talk in the interview there is no coherence on how it happened, he is basically mumbling his way through disguising it by pretending to be deflated about not having to fight.

The guy is the biggest con in boxing, period. Literally makes me sick that he's allowed to get away with it and then the idiiots defending him, when if fury was the one who pulled this stunt there'd be no excuses for him

Haye reads these forums still I am willing to bet.

When he does he must laugh at threads like this. The TS may aswell have writen 'IM SO JEALOUS OF DAVID HAYE, I WISH I WAS HIM, I WOULD DO ANYTHING TO HAVE HIS LIFE'

No Teddy if Haye is laughing at anyone it's his delusional fans like you who take his **** time after time after time. You may as well have written, " I'M SO IN LOVE WITH HAYE THAT I WILL DO ANYTHING TO DEFEND HIM NO MATTER HOW MUCH BULL**** HE PULLS OR NO MATTER HOW MUCH HE CONS HIS OWN FANS."

The smart ones have already given up on this part time fighter/full time bullshitter but there's always a few who can't let go of the illusion.

Not a Haye fan, I've been critical over the years about his opponents, not backing up his big mouth, etc. but the idea that people actually believe that he cut himself on purpose to avoid a fight with Tyson Fury boggles the mind. People watch too many daytime soaps. Bunch of drama queens.

Why not just get a "fake injury" that doesn't require actually slicing himself open? You realize that cuts often form scar tissue that can be prone to opening up again? Yes. Jeopardize the bigger fight he is supposedly lining up by sabotaging this one. Above his eye of all places? Please. Think it thru.

I've clearly stated in two separate threads that I don't believe Haye cut himself but I do believe that there is something dodgy about the whole fiasco. I mean Haye and Booth are supposed to be shrewd businessmen who are all about the money yet they have put a £5 million payday at risk to engage in hard sparring a week out from fight night when the opponent is supposed to be a walk in the park?? Why do that?

The whole thing is highly unprofessional at best and with Haye's previous antics he opens himself up for ridicule, criticism and even conspiracy theories. His fans should stop trying to defend him, it's pathetic.

i mean, you have the evidence to show us. right?

i swear some people round here act like they're in some kind of loopy cult.

cuts happen. get over it. no one has ducked the fight.

Funny, but no. Haye destroys Fury if they ever do fight and Haye knows that. He showed up to fight Wladimir Klitschko, so I truly doubt he is too scared to fight Tyson Fury. Get real man.
