:patsch yeah and wear it every day on every occasion, put it on with a bunch of movie make up specialists every morning, every time a bit different than the previous one because it has to heal, right?

It's more probable that he cut himself on purpose but I don't believe that either.

:patsch Bruises don't show much on black skin, do they?

Also, places that are cut don't really swell or become bruised. Have you ever had a cut, big or small? Was there any bruising or swelling?

If the cut is frmm a punch then there usually is bit of swelling. Check out all the fighters faces who suffered Lacerations to their faces from punches and you will always see swelling/brusining surrounding the area

Haye is light skinned and you should be able to see it but his skin surface is completely flat surrounding the cut.

That depends. Sometimes the swelling is from a punch that landed earlier, sometimes maybe even from a punch that caused the cut but it has to be hard and land in a certain way.

Often times it's just a cut from a glancing blow, some "sharper" part of the glove etc though.. There doesn't have to be any swelling or bruising at all. Normally the blood that would cause it under the skin, just flows out through the cut.

Just when you think the standards on this forum could not get any lower you get a thread like this. Well done Freedom2013 for hitting this all time low. This place is becoming a home for boxing conspiracy theorists rather than genuine boxing fans.

I think you should research how much Haye was getting paid to vaporize that uncoordinated sloth, then rethink this thread.

I heard Haye contacted Sylvester Stallone, and had his make-up crew flown over from the Atlantic over to make the cut. Work of art I'd say, looks very authentic.

    No.

    Not in the least.

    Well, I should qualify that.

    Anything's possible.

But anybody who rates the probability of a 'fake cut' at any higher than one in a million has shyte for brains.

    Soft, runny shyte.

Disclosure: I'm a Fury fan (can't help likin' the big lug) and I don't care at all for Haye.

This is David Haye we're talking about here. You seriously think he is above that kind of skullduggery?

Great video and yes its a high possibility that he used a razorblade. The cut is just too clean from it to be from the end of a punch

**** happens in sparring and Andre ward had a similar cut aswell and had to had the fight postponed.

    No.

    I don't think he's above such.

    He's just incapable of it.

Think conspiracy. A minimum of three people would have to be in on it.

And if any more than ONE person is in on a conspiracy, it's usually impossible to keep a lid on it.

I am not basing my reasoning on David Haye's less than sterling character. He's lied and dodged out of commitments before.

It's just that the excuse here is too difficult to fake with any hope of success.

This is a cut, which probably can, on the instructions of Fury's lawyers, be examined by a third party doctor and verified. It's not a' back injury' like the one he gave himself while shadow-boxing prior to ducking Vitali.
