    U sure Floyd offered 50/50?

How come Floyd himself says he NEVER offered 50/50?

    badlefthook.com/2012/1/20/2720521/mayweather-vs-pacquiao-disagreement-on-50-50-split

Obviously, all posts about 50/50 are full of ****. The proof is right there. He offered him $40M flat which is a joke offer.

That's $22 million more than he's making now, and more than he has ever been guaranteed.

And he offered him 50/50 during the first negotiations you twit. You're an idiot who clearly likes to rewrite history. Manny had 50/50, ring size, glove type, and $10 million per pound... all of which Mayweather agreed to. Meanwhile, your hero ran for the hills over a 14-day cutoff (which Mayweather already moved off totally random with no cutoff to try and make the fight) to fight Joshua The Turtle Clottey instead of making the biggest fight in over a decade. Clottey was coming off a loss.

You clowns need to just stop. You make yourself look ****ing pathetic.

when winky accepted the fight, floyd added a demand to limit on how much winky can rehydrate, when winky accepted that, floyd changed the money split to 55-45, when winky accepted that floyd wanted winky to guarantee floyd that he will win and not get hurt and end up with a limp or something.

Mayweather kept moving the goalposts you idiot. Read the VALID articles if you have reading comprehension instead of getting your information from mayweatherfans.com. Manny agreed to EVERYTHING even the blood testing but Mayweather kept moving the goalposts.

You're acting as, just like all the others, Manny/Mayweather could predict the future. No one knew Manny was going to get robbed against Bradley. No one knew Manny was going to be fighting Marquez on PEDs. It could've went the other way. At the time when the fight was being discussed, Manny had been on a tear for 7-8 straight years without a loss and was at the top of the game. It's completely understandable for Manny to turn down a ridiculous low offer. It should've been a 45-55 split.

    Nah.

Look at them now, Manny's trying to beuild his career, and Mayweather is the highest earning sports star in US.

May was smart enough to leave Arum.

No one is holding onto anything. As boxing fans, we all naturally want to see the best fights that can be made. Apparently, you're not a real fan

The fight not happening cost them both more than money. The fact this fight never happened when it counted will forever taint both fighters legacies.

Can anyone think of such a big fight not being made? The circumstances were perfect for a record breaking PPV fight. Both massive draws, both regarded as the 2 best P4P, more money on offer, than any fight in history would have beaten Mayweather/De La Hoya in terms of revenue. It would be like Frazier/Ali or Leonard/Hearns not happening.
