Do you believe Haye's injury is genuine or premeditated?

    From looking at Twitter, forums and social networking sites it seems A LOT of people are not buying the timing of Haye's injury.

    The Fury camp certainly aren't.

    To me, something smells VERY fishy.

    Do you think it is a genuine cut sustained in sparring 7 days before the fight, or do you think has been deliberately administered to get Haye out of the fight??

    It's genuine.
    It doesn't make it any better though. There's no excuse to risk a cut 7 days before a fight of this magnitude.

    Why do you honk Haye wants to pull out of he fight ???

    And dont play the 'coward' card , He has been boxing since 7 years old !

    There are rumours he has been offered a fight with Vitali. Which was always his endgame goal. Fury wasn't.

    Haye has history of pulling out of fights with 'injuries' to take bigger fights.

    Lets not forget this very fight came about through Haye getting 'injured' vs Charr.

    Most are aware he probably pulled out with the charr fight without an injury so that this fight with fury gets him a lot more money and also bashing up fury at the same time. Sky Box office is his pay master, one cannot mess with them with a deliberate injury and in an area that is very bad to have as a boxer. Haye would of got a good few £millions for this fight.

    He can still fight vitali next year after this fight, that is if vitali's team agree to a deal. I understand everyone was looking forward to this and are very frustrated, I feel for those who have lost out with hotel/travel bookings. People can moan yeah no prob but to suggest this is a fake or deliberate injury is silly.

    Anyone who believes he has cut himself on purpose is on another planet, This is DAVID HAYE - THE MOST VAINEST MAN IN BRITAIN, he probably considers his face the most valuable treasure the human race was given

    I'm not even that much of a fan of Haye's but to think he would fake this injury to get out fo the fight is ridiculous!

    Why would he put his body through a punishing training camp, have hard sparring sessions, only to then deliberately cut himself to pull out of the fight?? These training camps take their toll on a fighter. Would be pretty stupid to go through that, then fake an injury to get out.

    Plus, Fury is a very beatable opponent, light punchers have had him down. I'm sure Haye believed he could knock Fury out and collect a nice pay cheque.

    The conspiracy theories need to stop.

    Could be make up or Photoshop. Could also be genuine but this has become so common for Haye that you can't really blame those who think it's fake.

    Whatever the case Haye and Fury never fight and Haye fights the winner of Povetkin vs Klitschko.

    injuries are part and parcel of pro sport,pro boxers get paid to fight,silly question really!
