Garcia punched Lucas in the face and his eye immediately began to swell. It was a from a legal shot and Danny did nothing wrong, whatsoever. I have no gripes with that, only I feel is not as likely to happen in a rematch. Like I said, it was good fortune on his part.

You're either blind, full of ****, or both if you believe Lucas' fouls were more prevalent in that fight. Tony Weeks' warned Garcia about a half dozen times before even taking a single point. How many times did he warn Lucas for fouling?

I can understand Weeks not deducting points for the shots that strayed low when Lucas was cuffing him behind the head. That's fair game. But there were several instances when Garcia punched Lucas in the balls when his head wasn't being pushed down. One or two punches straying low is also understandable, but once it becomes repetitive, you have to question the motive behind them.

And get the fuc.k outta here with that groupie bull****. You're the one getting your panties in a bunch coming to Danny's defense in damn near every thread I see regarding the fight. Getting all emotional with multiple punctuation marks for emphasis like some little schoolgirl. Had the tables been turned and Lucas repeatedly punched Danny in the balls or "knocked" him down after spinning him and round and hitting him while he was tangled in the ropes, me and you both know you'd be screaming bloody murder right now. You'd probably want to kill Tony Weeks.

 

so danny was never hurt? what about holding for dear life after his mouth piece went flying? he just wanted to hug right? not to mention Matthysse's swarm was broken by Weeks too early. Garcia won and he did it with the planets aligning in his favor, literally everything went right for him. It wouldn't happen again.

 

Danny is finally coming out now and admitting he was hurt several times in the fight it's on YouTube

I don't understand why people get mad about a rematch possibility, I wouldn't mind seeing another great fight again

It isn't deserving of a rematch. Matthysse was down 3 points going into the 12th before he had a point taken on 2 cards in the 12th.

I gave Danny the 12 so he still won by 3 points on my card. No need for a rematch.
