I have trained at Paddy's gym in Swindon in the past. Top bloke.

He has close links with Booth and has worked in a good few of Haye/Groves training camps.

Wasn't he the guy who was making an idiot of himself at a Haye-Klitschko pre-fight press conference ? Acting the tough guy.
Some beef with Manny Steward, or something about hand wraps or gloves or something.

This story get stranger. It seems set up to me but I can't work it out. First Booth doesn't show up at the press conference on Tuesday and nothing is said, then the rumors come and we get a apparent confirmation from Sky of a split but no official word. At that point it looked very much like a wind up to me - Let them believe what they want... I thought Booth was just 100% focused on Haye.

Then Haye gets cut on Friday and his fight looks likely delayed until the end of October or maybe a shot a Klitschko in December.

If Booth had been busy with Groves until November 23rd as planned neither of those 2 option would have been possible. Maybe its a coincidence but the whole thing seems somehow managed.

On Tuesday when Booth didn't show at the conference I said on here that maybe there was a problem in the Haye camp that needed his attention like an injury, then this happens 3 days later.

The hand wrap thing go's all the way back to when Brewster was fighting Wlad for the first time and Paddy was his trainer.

5th question and answer down on this interview from 2006

Paddy is a VERY decent bloke, and one of my favourite people.
