Matthyse doesnt deserve a rematch, he just got battered for 12 rounds and put on his ass

 

Agree A Maxx...good posts about this fight...fight was very close, and Lucas fought half of it with one eye....he could indeed win a rematch, its not at all impossible for him to win against Danny.

Yeah, because facial damage tells the complete story of a fight. I guess in that case judges shouldn't even watch fights and instead score fights based on whose face is the worse for wear after the conclusion of bout. Simpleton logic. A fighter's face can be damaged from a single shot. Some fighters can take a tremendous amount of punches and not hardly mark up.

i tried to have a similar discussion regarding danny and lm... he claimed that it was a competitive fight then talks about how lucas got the beat up like hell... oxymoron...

 

I think a rematch is not neccessary but if it was to be made, I think Danny will win the fight.
Danny would be more confident and probably ends the fight in a KO. He knows he can take Lucas power. If anything this last fight showed that Danny was a better boxer than most people thought. He made Mathysse look one-dimensional at times.
