BOXNATION just got the rights to show the biggest Heavyweight showdown in years between Ring Heavyweight Champion Wladimir Klitschko and unbeaten Alexander Povetkin on October 5th.

This will also be the first Heavyweight showdown between 2 former Olympic Super Heavyweight Gold Medalists and is the biggest fight ever staged in Russia.

Decent undercard too which isn't usually the case with Klitschko fights:

Mateusz Masternak vs. Grigory Drozd, 12 rounds, for Masternak's European cruiserweight title.
Ruslan Chagaev vs. Jovo Pudar, 12 rounds, heavyweights.
Rakhim Chakhkiev vs. TBA, 10 rounds, heavyweights

This is the kind of fight that Primetime used to charge you £15 for so getting it for £10 on Boxnation is good value for money especially as you're getting 2 other cards later in the month as well.

    Anyway welldone Boxnation.

Russia is about 3 hours ahead and therefore this should be a great appetiser to the big 02 - Anthony Joshua debut, Quigg etc show

On paper this is a big fight. I've got no problem with BN if they continue to deliver so many fights I'd struggle to see otherwise. Names like Wlad, Khan and Mayweather make your channel pretty decent in the boxing world!

That's true, it's also the biggest Heavyweight clash since Mike Tyson vs Lennox Lewis from a monetary aspect and probably the biggest for Wlads legacy with the Haye fight.

Fury-Haye was a pretty meaningless fight in the scheme of things and could have been another Haye stinker too. Maybe this one won't be the most exciting of fights but it's an important Heavyweight match-up especially being between 2 former Olympic Gold Medalists and one that could well end up being alot closer then people think.

    Agreed.

No one is forcing them to watch the fight and they probably don't have Boxnation any way so they're just talking ****.

Anyone who would prefer to watch Anthony Joshua vs TBA over Wladimir Klitschko vs Alexender Povetkin for the Ring Linear Heavyweight Title can't be anything other then a moron.

Pleased BN have picked it up, but tbf the 02 card is one of the best UK cards of the year, really looking forward to it. Hopefully Klitch on around 7ish.

Seeing as though you don't need to watch the fight or even like Boxnation i'm going to email Boxnation and tell them to turn off your feed if you're stupid enough to actually be Gary Richards from Doncaster...should be easy for them to find and send you a bill for 9 months viewing which you've admitted to having and watching.
