Mayweather by a long way. He's unbeatable by pure talent, not by cheating using PEDs.

Plus, he's ducked far fewer opponents than cowardly RJJ.

Roy Jones would beat Floyd in a head to head (lb for lb, prime for prime)

Floyd would probably figure out Roy...and it'll be too late. Jones wins.

So, are you claiming RJJ didn't use PEDs... or trying to claim that Mayweather does?

    Either way you're ******ed.

Or, are you claiming RJJ didn't duck opponents?

Because again, ******ed statement. He was a coward plain and simple who ducked Collins, Calzaghe, Benn, Eubank, Svenn Ottke, Michalwalski, Jirov, Graciano Rocchigiani. Then, when he moved up to heavyweight we can add Lennox Lewis to the list.

See a pattern, RJJ blatantly DUCKED any European who could beat him. He was so afraid of getting beat by a European he refused to fight them.

Jirov it's a bit disputable I admit. I haven't been aware of RJJ ducking him but, I've seen other posters say RJJ did so that's his reason for been included.

Sven Ottke, RJJ blatantly ducked. Likewise, he ducked Lennox when he moved to heavyweight to fight John Ruiz who is a smaller heavyweight and the easier opponent. Although, to be fair, I don't blame him for that since Lennox would have demolished him.

But, even removing the debateable Jirvo and Lewis who... you can't RJJ for picking Ruiz instead; the resume of guys RJJ ducked is pretty big and a black stain on his career.

Show me when and where he ducked the mighty Sven Otteke ..And he wanted to fight LL would he have got killed yes but LL chose to fight Vitali instead and retire .. But to say he ducked him is absurd considering he was so much bigger than he was ..That's like saying Floyd is ducking Hopkins ..Its a ******ed statement ..

You say '******ed statement' and then go on to claim that Roy jones is a coward, how ironic. No man who steps into a ring to fight is a coward, you are an idiot.

I've edited my post to address LL been bigger than RJJ, it's a fair comment and I don't blame him.

RJJ ducked Ottke a number of times. When he was world champion his team made repeated offers to RJJ but received no reply.

Face it, RJJ was **** scared of losing to Europeans. I don't know why. Whether it was cowardice. A fear that losing to a European would tarnish his legacy. Whether he worried they would test for PEDs in Europe or what. But the fact is, RJJ ducked them.

Really they made offers this is news and what did they want Roy to travel to him? I find it hysterical that he would duck Sven, and Rochi chose to sue the WBC rather than to fight Jones go look that up..And no man that steps in the ring is a coward !And again wasn't Clinton Woods Eurpean or what about. Malinga ?

You're a special kind of stupid aren't you?

He started out at 154, went up to HW, but was a coward? :patsch

You're just another clown, that's just named fighters from the same era.

    Steve Collins.

Was dismissed to fight at 175.

Would somebody who was afraid of Steve Collins, at the peak of their powers at 27, go and fight a HW, when they were 34, after having had 50 fights?

    Makes perfect sense!

    Joe Calzaghe.

A relatively unknown, WBO belt holder, who fought in a DIFFERENT weight class. When Roy had signed the Ruiz contract, Joe had fought Tocker Pudwell, who was a late replacement for Thomas Tate, who Roy had iced in a round 9 years previously.

    Chris Eubank.

Has admitted on numerous occasions, that it would have been suicide to fight Roy in his prime, and he was happy defending against his WBO mandatories, on his SKY contract.

    Nigel Benn.

According to Roy and Greg Fritz, Don King wanted future options on Roy's fights, and he wouldn't sign a one fight deal. Also, Roy's handers at the time, the Levin brothers, were also extremely reluctant to deal with King.

    Sven Ottke.

Ha! Do me a favour! Another unknown European, who fought in a DIFFERENT weight class to Roy.

    Dariusz M.

His promoter offered Roy deals to go to Germany, and Roy said no. Roy wanted the fight in the U.S. because he had all of the belts, and was the best fighter in the world. He also didn't think he'd get a fair shake in Germany, by saying "I don't think a knockout would be enough over there."

DM's promoter then said, that if they wanted DM to go to America, they'd have to give them a good offer. But every time Kerry Davis of HBO tried to negotiate, his calls were being ignored. DM's promoter then admitted to ignoring his calls, because Roy had turned them down previously.

It was play ground stuff. Then Davis faxed through a proposal to have Roy Jones and DM to appear on the same card, to hype the fight, and to introduce DM to the American public. But it was turned down flat with a bull**** excuse.

DM was then happy to fight the likes Of Joey De Grandis etc.

    Jirov.

Roy would only have gotten a little extra to fight Jirov, than what he was getting paid to fight Woods. Then after the Woods fight, Jirov and the CW division were bypassed, to instead fight at HW.

    Roch.

No showed at the press conference, and HBO wanted a Telesco fight.

    Lewis.

Seemed up for Roy before he fought Vitali, but afterwards decided to retire, saying he was no longer motivated and didn't have the hunger.

So yes, I see your pattern on how Roy ducked the Europeans guys.

    (That's sarcasm by the way.)

It seems perfectly clear, that Roy fought Ruiz, because he was scared of Calzaghe and Ottke.

    (There's some more.)

    MUST TRY HARDER!

You're so out of your depth here, it's cringeworthy.

Jirov was bypassed to fight at HW.

    Ottke?

    Ha! Laughable!

Why the F*CK would Roy have ever even contemplated fighting Sven Ottke?????

You're telling me that Roy was scared of Sven Ottke, a European 168 fighter?

By the way, Roy's initial target at HW, was Evander Holyfield, NOT John Ruiz. But I'm sure that you already knew that. Right?

    :patsch

I'm sure Roy was terrified of the mighty Sven!
