How come Manny felt he could dictate the rules with weight penalties?

How do you know when PEDs became an issue in boxing?

Are you an insider who knows whats going on in boxing gyms behind closed doors?

You think Peterson and Berto were the first ones to use?

What about Jones? Mosley? Toney? Holyfield?

You know whats funny about the reasons you just gave Pac for requesting testing? THEY WERE THE EXACT SAME REASONS FLOYD SR USED TO LABEL PAC A CHEAT!!!

Floyd SR said it dont make no sense that Pac could tee off on Barrera and never come close to KOing him, but years later at 147 he is displaying more power then he ever did at lower weights.

I don't see why number 2 isn't plausible, under the circumstances.

You keep using the word refusal. But Manny didn't refuse to be blood and urine tested. He just refused to meet Floyd's cut off demand. Now I could say that Floyd failed to meet Manny's request.

Manny refusing to all of Floyd's demands, does not mean he was dirty with something to hide. That isn't evidence.

I understand the 14 day period as you've mentioned, but Floyd was willing to give him those 14 days.

So what does that say to you?

Why would Floyd have even budged from zero days, if he thought Manny could take something?

It's a pretty pointless debate anyway, because once again, the following year Manny AGREED to the 14 days, and Floyd wanted a holiday.

Now if Floyd had've been serious about the fight, he could have given Manny the 14 days that was on offer previously, to make millions and millions of dollars.

14 days is long enough to take PED's and for them to have an effect during the fight without being detected after the fight: http://24hoursppc.org/blog/?p=135

He refused to be tested during those 14 days, therefore he refused drug testing.

And your original point remains absolutely ridiculous and indefensible. It's something you just pulled out of your anus in order to mitigate what the experts have told you.

The only one going in circles is YOU.

Yeah, I see a pattern emerging alright.

I see PBF agreeing to a unprecedented 10 Million weight penalty and a (mostly undeserved) 50/50 split. I see Mayweather able to negotiate with a guy (Bob Arum) who was willing to mismanage his career over beef with rival promoters (GBP), repeatedly called him a 'coward' and fugged him out of his Judah money. And even still, Mayweather was able to still get this deal down to where only 10 days separated us from the biggest fight in history.

And all I see delusional Pac fans talking weaksauce about Pac's 'pride' and not having to 'bow down'. It's clear which side tried to make the fight.

    Get off that dust.

Again, you can't agree to something not offered. Might happen in PacLand, but the real world doesn't work like that.

I was referring to when they were negotiating through the media, early in 2009.

The only thing that Floyd was bothered about, was the purse split, until his Dad opened his big mouth in September.

    Around and around we go.

I'm all for testing, and I agree with what you've said about wanting to control the tests.

People are going to say he wanted to control the tests because of guilt, and I and others think that he wanted to control it, to not be dictated to.

What we need if possible, is for all fighters to be tested randomly all year around.

The problem I have with guys like you, is that you completely overlook the part where Manny said "Ok, I'll do 14 days." and you just keep referring back to the first round of negotiations.

Now all of this, "Manny had his chance" is all bollocks!

We're talking about what would have been the biggest fight ever.

Yes, Manny refused the 14 days. The Hatton video had surfaced where he had blood taken from 24 days out, so he said he'd do the same.

But Floyd refused, and wanted 14 days.

Now my question to you is this.

If Manny was big enough to concede to Floyd's wishes, then why wouldn't Floyd let him have the 14 days that was on offer before?

Floyd had won. He'd gotten his wish. Manny had given in.

So Manny could give in, but Floyd couldn't have granted the 14 days?

    It's bollocks!

Floyd could have said "OK, lets do it!" But he said he wasn't interested about boxing, and he wanted a vacation.

With regards to the last part of your post, a lot's happened within the last four years, and the circumstances are different.

Also, lets not forget that last year, before Rios, Manny agreed to be tested up to the day of the fight, and accepted 45%, and the fight still didn't take place. So Floyd had gotten what he'd wanted on TWO occasions, yet it wasn't enough.

    That speaks volumes.

Why don't you look into Floyd Snr's reasoning?

You can apply his logic to say that Floyd is on PEDS.

Floyd Snr made it sound as though Manny had started out at 106, and then two days later, he was up at 147.

But it had taken him THIRTEEN years to get to that point.

    It was complete bull****!

Could he not have gotten stronger, as he got older, and moved up through the weights?

Floyd started out at SFW, and has gone through 5 weight divisions, up to LMW.

I could say that he's on PEDS.

Also, tell me why Floyd was on a mission to clean up the sport of boxing in 2009, but he wasn't interested in doing it in 96, 97, 98, 99, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008?

Did it just suddenly hit him one day in Dec of 2009?

HE WAS WILLING TO DO THE 14 DAYS IN 2010.

Also, if there was a serious chance of Manny doing that, then why did Floyd say 14 days in the first place??

Manny would have had a 9 week camp. So how realistic would it have been that he'd have taken something for 2 weeks out of 9, and what benefit would he have gained?

In your honest opinion, how realistic was any of this?

The only time Manny agreed to the 14 days was when there was overwhelming evidence of his excuses being bull****.

The fact that he's trying to dodge drugs test in the first place, would of made Floyds team suspicious. Then when he consults his team and suddenly agrees to a 14 day grace period (Which is long enough to cheat and get away with it by using various PED's such as rEOP, Testosterone and blood doping) would of made floyd doubly suspicious and he quite rightly refused this period. At this point Manny refused to take proper drug testing and this was the major reason for the fight not happening at that time.

At later dates i think the problem lies with both of them.

    Sweet Jones,

    :patsch

    You're a joker!

Floyd could do ANYTHING and you'd excuse it.

Just look at your quote below.

You want to get off of Floyd's nuts, and live in the real world.

Give me a reason why Floyd couldn't have made the fight in 2010 when Manny had agreed to the 14 days??

Seriously, how old is Floyd? Is he 5 years old?

Manny had conceded to Floyd. He'd backed down, given in, whatever you want to call it. He'd given Floyd the power. He'd said "Fine, ok, we'll do what you want to do. Give me the 14 days."

But the man who calls himself "Money" who's in the "Cheque cashing business" wouldn't cash Manny cheque, because Manny had turned down the offer the previous year?

    Ha!

    F*CK OFF!

He turned down the opportunity to make millions and millions of dollars, because Manny had turned him down the previous year?

    It's kids stuff.

Also, tell me why Floyd tried to claim THE ENTIRE PPV REVENUE in what would have been the biggest grossing fight of all time?

I can't wait to hear this excuse.

If Floyd went on a rampage, and shot 50 people, you and the other clowns on here, would be making threads, telling us how the victims had gotten in the way of the bullets, and how it wasn't Floyd's fault!
