It's being said all over the place, news, tv, blog's, facebook everywhere!

Canelo was overwhelmed, beaten badly, shown up, etc. etc. etc.

That has to sum it up. One sided, Mayweather beat him like the red headed step child that he is.
Now, lets move on. How about, MM v Canelo, or Canelo v. Chavez Jr., or Canelo v. Garcia. That way we can find out if he is a contender or a pretender.
thank you for your attention: dorjbrun

  2. He needs to fight S*xy sergio martinez

Canelo Vs Garcia? Are you kidding me?

I think Martinez or Chavez Jr. at 160 would be doable fights that I would want to watch. Might be a problem cause they are both at HBO though.

Let's see Canelo fight a champion with a belt who weighs 15 pounds more than him fight night. Let's see if he has cajones like Mayweather. Or is TOMATO CANelo el pollo rojo?

If you see last Saturday episode of "Golpe a Golpe" (ESPN Boxing show in Spanish). They had Nacho Berstain (SP?) and they (host and Nacho) completely agreed and openly talked about Canelo being exposed, how his record is hyperinflated, how he only fought old man, people too small, and how he became a champion fighting for an open belt with an individual who has NEVER fought at 154lb before.

Nacho tore Canelo a new asz. It was ugly. Very, very interesting episode. Must see.

If Canelo is truly a hypejob and "exposed" as many have been saying why have him fight at a catchweight? Floyd showed Canelo tremendous respect for his skills; canelos feints made Floyd flinch at times, showed him more respect than Cotto inside the ring. Also, in his post fight interview Floyd was very humble and showed class like he always did early in his career. Great fight! But I'd hardly call it a beat down. Mayweather vs corrales is an absolutely brilliant display of boxing and more of a beat down.

"Beaten" is a bit strong when used to describe Mayweather's win over Alvarez....
(Probably "outpointed" is a better term.)

Nobody was beaten that night in the ring.

Agreed. Canelo will come back and fight another day. I think that he should fight at 154 minimum. Hes not a bum or an average joe, hes just not as good as mayweather.

nacho beristan was saying canelo had a good chance before the fight, now that the fight is over he is talking all this sh**!!! he does have some possibly valid points but where were those points when he was saying canelo had a chance? in my opinion lets see how canelo does against some other 154 lb contenders before we write him off.

I call you BS on that statement bra'.

Nacho was qouted on mexican radio saying that the only way he would beat FMJr. was if he entered the ring with a baseball bat. WAYYYYY before the fight.

He took all types of hell from the mexican people for that. There are several interviews where he said that pretty much didnt have a chance in hell.

Lastly, this passed Sat on "Golpe a Golpes" (ESPN) he called Canely a hypejob who did not earn his belt and it was a given who defeated a guy who has NEVER fought at 54 before! Nacho and the host called him out! THey stated that hyperboy only fights underweight, 2 div smaller (Cotto's brother, Josesito, and others), well pass it, etc and how his resume has being build from those guys. Plain and simple. HYPED TO HELL CANELO.

    :deal
