Canelo-Molina is what I think they're trying to line up. I would like to see him face Lara down the line and possibly Kirkland if he ever gets his act together.

    Canelo vs Garcia?

    No, more like

    Canelo vs Lara
    Canelo vs Cotto
    Canelo vs Trout 2
    Canelo vs Molina

Fights against established contenders in his own weightclass.

Fights like Canelo vs Garcia is exactly the problem here.

Damn shame he's wasted most of his career away. Not the most skilled but always in exciting fights.

Cotto is past his prime. If he looks sensational against Delvin then maybe.

Lara is a good option. Winner of Vanes vs. Andrade would also be a good option.

Canelo is going to lose to some of these guys at the top of the 154 lb division. He is not a great fighter, I said it before the Floyd fight and say it now. He is good but not great.

    nicely done.

anyone that understands and has followed boxing for more than three years knows that the 5'7" mexican with short legs, bad footwork and no real one punch power in either hand was and is nothing special with ten ounce gloves.

if he cant make 147 i give him two years(four fihgts) tops before he is regulated to a contender status and three years(six fights) before he is entirely irrelevant

hes going to look so ordinary against molina...his only option at this point other than cotto.

lara, james and rosado could all set him back so far that he doesnt even make it two more years.

I haven't been on much but Canelo is still the truth, the fight he had with Maweather was a De La Hoya/Mayweather 2. Floyd couldn't get any shot off he wanted at will. The lead right wasn't thrown all night, Canelo had nice defense but didn't mix it up like he usually does.

    Disappointed me man

Canelo vs. PBF was a close but clear decision for Mayweather, it was definitely not a one-sided beatdown

I think Cotto/Molina is more likely since Cotto , believe it or not, would bring more money to the table than any other realistic opponent and he's a slightly better matchup for Molina at this point.

    Stop crying

Kirkland is younger than GG,Mathysee, and all the other trash people go on about.

He's the same age as Chavez jr.
