They were confident and really believed canelo was going to win. Canelo who's been pampered and build up from the beginning with blown up welterweights and past prime fighters had done noting to prove he could beat mayweather. His best win was trout which wasn't all that impressive solidified to me he couldn't beat mayweather in a boxing match.

Game plan they came with was try to outbox and hope canelo could catch him with something big. He just couldn't catch him, money must have been the only reason they threw this kid out there.
