...and so it would go today, except without headgear Adonis doesn't survive.

Entertaining round for an amy fight, that's for sure!

Interesting to think how this would go today. Part of me says Adonis goes down when Pascal lands his first lunging flurry, but part of me also says Pascal could get caught like a deer in headlights. Either way, there'd be a great chance of a KO in the first 3 rounds but if both of them made it past that point, I think it would become a competitive jousting competition between two gassed fighters... I've vocally said that Adonis has great power for a while now, although I hate the man. I believe his one punch power is devastating.

i think quite the opposite...adonis can box, he dont have the greatest footwork, but he can fight off the back foot as he displayed with dawson...and as you see with this fight in this vid, its pretty even except adonis is throwing wild without much technique, but we have to remember this is not a 12 round fight, pascal gasses after the 6th...what you see in this vid is only round 1...

in a real fight i know they would not go all out in round one like you see here..and we must not forget adonis has learned much and is still learning...pascal is not still learning, but perfecting what he has already learned...10 years makes a difference

It make me laugh when I saw this a while ago...Stevenson back then with his limited ammateur experience did'nt know **** how to box yet hang in there with good ammateurs because of his incredible brute strength...Stevenson's skillset improved so much since those days its crazy.

Stevenson still can't box. Just because he acts slick and has natural athleticism doesn't make him skilled. Pascal for all his defensive liabilities and crazy leaping hooks is probably at or above Stevenson's actual level of fundamental boxing skill.
