    Full Appreciation.

I think what unsettles and makes so many insecure is that nearly all roads lead to Calzaghe.
Put this to the test and see how it works out. Pick a legend or top fighter and see how it leads to Calzaghe scientifically proving his greatness.

Mike Tyson - Lost to Lennox Lewis, who lost to Hasim Rahman, who lost to Evander Holyfield, who lost to James Toney, who lost to Roy Jones, who lost to Joe Calzaghe.

    Proven!!

You can name other fighters who are considered greats or very good, but their names lead to Calzaghe ie Muhammad Ali, Sugar Ray Robinson, Archie Moore, Wlad/Vitali Klitschko even,

Ignorance that I have schooled many times in the past.
Eubank, Mitchell, Reid, Woodhall, Veit, Brewer had been or were SMW champs.

Americans hate this bond fide ATG because he beat their best and even did it in their own backyards when they tried to hide from him.

the Americans being bitter is what it's all about. they hate the fact that Joe beat all their Asses. they continually participate in a load of mud slinging that isn't actually true to try and make themselves feel better because they need to feel like they're better than everybody like a bunch of sad ****s. they picked against Joe a good few times and were left with egg on their faces. but instead of giving credit for beating the guys that THEY said would win, they go around like a bunch of spoilt little children with deep insecurities. no class, no sportmanship. let them rot with their huge ego's and deep needs to feel better than others like the idiots that they are. Joe will never be great on the basis of what these (probably obese) no marks say. Joe will be remembered as being great for what he did in the ring. no one can take that away.

and then, without any hint of irony, they support pathetic little shits like Wilder, Mayweather, Broner and Ward...

1 doesn't fight anybody with a pulse. 1 doesn't fight clean in any way. is boring as ****, but is supposedly more proven and a better fighter than Joe which is strictly on the basis on him being an American. is a smug little ***** with a punchable face, and is a huge hypocrite.
and the other guy ducks fights left right and centre. the other they said was a future ATG (Broner) LOL.

the reason they support these guys and many like them is, because they're American. if you can't see that pattern on here and other boxing forums, then you need your head checking.

Special fighter, great talent, had the heart of a warrior.

His resume is underrated, it is actually quite good.

And yes I am an American, that can appreciate Joe.

Calzaghe sucks, even though he beat them Jones and Hopkins rank FAR higher on the ATG lists

zaghes had Olympian stamina and a god chin, and above all the most excellent matchmaking management you could wish for (although it looks bad in restrospect because of national level opponents for 10 years of world title defending).

Something of a very late bloomer (he only defended against world class in his last fight at SMW), he nevertheless had excellent overall health both mental and physical for him to keep going for so long.

Calzaghe fought most of his career in the U.K. against fighters the rest of the world never heard of. He stayed away from Jones and Hopkins until both men were way pass there prime. Where was he when both fighters were dominating, surely he was a active fighter during that time. I have no doubt and most of his fans as well know that, if a 40yr old Jones and Hopkins were able to drop him. A prime Jones and Hopkins would of stopped him.

Top 5 ATG Brit IMO the best SMW of all time, never got the appreciation he deserved but 46- 0 man wins over Hopkins Lacey, prime Kessler, Eubank, i dont buy the idea he ducked a load of guys, maybe RJJ but thats it, Glen Johnson give me a break Calzaghe would dominate him badly, Calzaghe was rated number 2 p4p at the end of his career for a reason, in the last 50 years only Lennox can compete with him in terms of British fighters a ledgend in my eyes Froch isnt on his level at all Calzaghe is more Wards level and we saw how Carl fared against him
