Dan Rafael, Steve Kim and Al Bernstein all say Joe is guaranteed to get in the Hall of Fame.

    Dwyer called Joe an ATG.

American Boxing Writers named Joe 3rd best fighter of the decade.

Both Charles Brewer and Sakio Bika have said Joe Calzaghe is the best fighter they have fought.

The opinion of clueless keyboard warriors counts for nothing.

Wow that video speaks a million words about Calzaghe...just what I always though of him really...brilliant video and it like a complete expose and so very very true...fought no one, slapped like a ***** and got favoured by refs in his hometown

Its stupid to say he was pure garbage though, just as its stupid to call someone who fights a string of domestics an ATG. The gay had freakish output and stamina and a solid chin, with good handspeed too. That amounts to a handful.

Joe's the only guy i ever saw try to take out Eubank toe to toe from the start.
The look of bewilderment on Chris' face when he realised he was reduced to a punching bag was priceless.

Then of course there's the bursting of Hopkins' vagina for everyone to see when he couldn't run fast enough from Joe and faked a low blow.

    Man, what memories.

An above average boxer I should say.....but not much more than that. He was champ for a long period. He was protected with most of his fights in UK...avoided the best fighters.

Actually, he didn't need more .

When Jones Jr was doing PEDS like crazy and Hopkins was busy perfecting his non contact boring style, Joe was using reflexes and timing to beat to the punch pretty much everyone he faced.

I've watched boxing for 20 years and never saw someone with Joe's unsolvable technique in infighting.

He could outclass anyone in close.

Boxing books should include a chapter about Joe.

The hell he wasn't., you mad crazy girl. :yep

You're mistaking mauling, clinching and rabbit punching for infighting.

Bernard doesn't do infighting because he refuses to give openings to his adversairies; his scope consists on nullifying his oponnent's offense

If he was the infighting machine you're suggesting then he would have a lot more kos on his sleeve.
