    JCC Jr is an Iron Chinned Warrior who refuses to quit. You could bash Dawson (who quit) or Cleverly (no heart) but JCC Jr. never quits, he fights like a man. He took an 11 round beating from a top 3 P4P fighter but he never quit and he fought like a real fighter. I'll take Jr and his shenanigans all day over a lot of the **** I see.

    Maybe I need to watch the fight again too, but I didn't think Vera won. Even the shots that he "landed" mostly just glanced off of Chavez. He barely landed anything clean. Like I said though, I want to watch it a second time.

    In this fight, yes.

    But in general, I don't get why he gets criticized for the fights where he makes weight. Everyone drains to make weight and Junior shouldn't be criticized just because he's particularly good at it, or because he looks big at a weight he is able to make.

    Yeah, except he didn't make weight this time. And not only did he not make weight, he was over by FOUR POUNDS. Add to that the fact there were heavy suspicions he was using diuretics to make weight (refusing **** tests, etc).
