What do you guys think of Guillermo Rigondeaux? What he has done in 12 fights is amazing. Who would you like to see him fight next?

he is superb....so good to my eyes........if he was magically 3 weights bigger and mayweather back down a couple of weights, i'd give him the best chance of anyone around now to counter what mayweather has.

he has a superb boxing brain. he has superb footwork too. i really really like him.

Talented boxer, most likely the best out there. Liked what I saw against Donaire.

I'd love to see him again. I consider Andre Ward actually the best in the world and not Floyd. And I would put Rigondeax above Floyd in a head to head matchup too.

Rigo made a true believer out of me the way he handled a very dangerous fighter in Donaire...Rigo is truly a great talent. Shame on Arum...Shame on HBO...for not getting this guy fights!

Rigo has wonderful skills combined with great speed, but for thrills give me the
great Gennady Golovkin whose baby face belies his killer shots to the body...
Mayweather avoids Gennady like the plague...And I love the Russian lightheavyweight
Serge Kovalev...That man can hit and is the best LH today by far...
P.S. Who knows how good GGG is ? I believe he fits in with the "oldtimers" of my youth...

    Amazing fighter.

    He made Donaire look foolish.

How is a 36 year old welterweight avoiding a middleweight?

I like that he put on a clinic against the hype job he is a classic stylist.

He's a terrific fighter, excellent technical ability and sublime defense. He fights like Mayweather, they fight like mongooses in the ring, darting in and out with ease.

Him fighting a top champion in just his 12th fight reminds me of when Azumah Nelson went toe to toe with the great Salvador Sanchez in just his 11th or 12th pro fight and gave him hell for the entire bout. One of the greatest matches I ever saw and always wondered how Azumah would've fared had he fought him a few years down the road.

Rigo obviously has a long and storied amateur background. he's pretty old right now and needs to continue fighting the best out there while he's still in his prime. He has a short time frame unfortunately. It's a travesty how his career is being dealt with by being a Top Rank/HBO fighter, companies that put a premium on knockout artists rather than boxing pugilists.

Rigo is sublime, superb in every way, though perhaps without the greatest P4P power.

One of my greatest fantasy fights however, would be watching Rigo fight Loma over 12 rounds (assuming, of course Vasyls talent translates to the pros). We are blessed to have two of the greatest amateurs of all time boxing simultaneously only a division apart under the same promoter. It would be almost criminal for this fight not to happen, once Lomachenko's acclimatised for a year or two perhaps.

Generally I'm more a follower of the higher weight classes, but this, potentially could be the best fight to be made in any division.

Rigo is one of the best fighters I've ever out there. If given the chance he could become an ATG.
