id be very fearful if i was Bellew getting in ring with this beast Stevenson,he looks like he could end careers with that left hand... that belt wont be ending up in UK anytime soon

Think Bellew has a great chance againt Stevenson.

And if you cant see Tony has power then I would suggest watching the darts, its easier to follow.

Umm...think Stevenson is a better boxer and mover than I thought. Tough fight for Tony.

As he said though he's completely different physically to Cloud so we'll see how Adonis he reacts if Bellew lets his hands go. He could disintegrate mentally I feel if Bellew can frustrate him and make it hard for him to land and then he'll leave himself very open.

    He's some athlete though.

Stevenson is the man. That was a great performance. I don't see Kovalev having the athleticism or tank to take Adonis although he obviously has massive power which is always dangerous.

Tony Bellew would have to be very disciplined to have any chance against Stevenson. He would need to be elusive and pick and chose his raids very careful. If he gets into a scrap it won't last long.

It's a massive fight for Bellew and puts him right up there on the global stage. I don't seem him pulling a Cleverly but he really is facing the fight of his life.

Was impressed with Stevenson last night was the best I have seen him box picked his shots well & movement surprised me.

Tough night ahead for Bellew but I think he will certainly put up a better argument than Cloud did last night he looked well off the pace as good as Stevenson was I expected more from Cloud.

You probably could not handle a Romanian toilet attendant, never mind a Latvian electrician.

Bellew has earned the right to be the mandatory for a world title, what have you achieved lately?

The fact is that Tony would undoubtedly be the underdog in a fight with Stevenson (who looked like the world's number one 175 lb fighter last night) but if Bellew ignored the pre-fight verbals and the temptation to prove how macho he is..well if he did beat Stevenson it most certainly would not be the biggest shock in boxing history.

Lets face it, Stevenson has looked great in his past two fights, but both Dawson and Cloud are shells of the fighters they were. Both are great names to have on your record, but (Dawson) got ruined by fighting the 168 champ and the other got beat by Hopkins (I don't care how great he's been, Bernard is almost 50 and many years past prime) and just scraped past Campillo!!

Let's not forget that Stevenson got stopped by Boone, so the Champ is far from titanium!!

    Good luck Tony lad!!!:bbb

Maybe your vcash reference makes you seem like an abject twat!!

    :good Well said!!

Everyone is riding the Stevenson hype train like he is ****ing Ezzard Charles when it is clear that both Dawson and Cloud are done as serious title contenders!!

That said, Adonis did look on top form and (like you) he surprised me with his movement, punch selection, timing and athleticism.

A tough night ahead for Tony, but he has the personality to handle the occasion and environment (ala Lloyd Honeyghan when he fought Don curry).

I actually believe that Bellew will perform better away from Liverpool!!

Yes think we are in the minority on giving Bellew a chance!

Think he will underestimate Bellew & may be looking ahead at unification fights & the $ on offer. For Bellew big outsider but if he sticks to his boxing & frustrate hopefully he can emulate one of my favourite fighters from back in the day from Liverpool John Conteh.

You can't pick apart Stevenson's resume without mentioning Bellew's. Tony's best win is a controversial points decision over Isaac Chilemba (the rematch). And we all know Chilemba beat him in the first fight handily.

Bellew goes in as a big underdog no doubt Stevenson carries heavy hands obviously but he can be frustrated it is Bellew's only chance for me to out box & movement the key.Was surprised how well he boxed last night as I posted earlier it is going to take a hell of a lot of discipline for him to get the upset but IMO not impossible.

Chilemba is the sort of fighter that would make anyone look bad a real tricky customer.

Agreed Chilemba was next to impossible to hit.

Bellew needs a cool head. This fight doesn't need trash talk to sell.
