Larry injured. Shame as this was a very good fight on paper, 2 well matched, unbeaten former Prizefighter winners in a British title eliminator. Won't affect the Sky show much as this was lumped on the red button show in favour of Mitchell vs an unknown on the main show. Shame for Glenn though - apparently he will still be on the show with a new opponent announced on Monday. I guess most would be watching the Wlad fight during the red button show anyway.

A bit too much of a trek for me mate, still waiting on Wazza to put on a show up in the North East :bbb, will be waiting a while . Conquest Vs Camacho (on the red button is also a decent looking fight). Good show though. Solid main event, a very eagerly anticipated debut and a decent fight for Selby where hopefully he will win his belt outright.

Very little up here, certainly no big names like they used to have in Newcastle - e.g. Benn, Hatton/Calzaghe (same bill) and Khan have all headlined in the past. To be fair, Tony Jeffries dad puts on some decent shows in Sunderland and has a decent looking one in mid October but this was the last card in Newcastle: Thomas Ward Vs Adrian Fuzesi (6-7-0) 6x3 Paul O'Hagan Vs Paul Morris (5-20-2) 4x3 Andrew Buchanan Vs Jody Meikle (6-38-1) 4x3 Craig Nicholson Vs Dean Walker (12-40-3) 4x3 Lewis Scott Vs Costas Osben (2-11-1) 4x3 Admittedly the main event (Cope Vs Curran) was cancelled at late notice, but you're looking at £30-35 minimum price for that. A few prospects against people with losing records who pretty much can't win in 4 rounders. ****** and Matchroom shows will charge similar amounts (for minimum price tickets) and it is a bit **** for NE fans.

I totally agree mate. I've noticed it myself and reason why Coldwell's kicked on is because he's been smart with pricing.
