Lederman and Paoletto had it a shutout, which I don't agree with. The 6th was unmistakably Lamont's.

The other guy having the mere point separating them (due to Steve Willis docking Browne that point, meaning he saw Browne 5-3 in rounds) seems a bit generous the other way, however. :think

Did anyone catch Otis Griffin's face when they read the decision?

I wonder if he actually believed the line he was feeding Williams about having taken every round through five... :!:

Tompkins interviews Brett Yormack, the CEO of the Barclay's Center. He wants Mayweather to compete there during his Showtime contract.

Malignaggi has known Sadam Ali since he began in the amateurs when Ali was only eight years old. He said he used to imitate Naseem Hamed a lot when he was a child but has toned it down although he "still has fun in there".

This is for the vacant WBA Fedelatin super lightweight championship. (notable past bearers including Khabib Allakhverdiev, Sharmba Mitchell, Alberto Mosquera, Marcos Rene Maidana, and Miguel Angel Cotto...)

I guess he saw Chavez getting the nod over Vera and figured it was a game changer.

"All you gotta do now is defend well for 2.5 minutes and then get in a couple of counters...:deal"

He is missing the big part of that equation, that stipulates you be the bigger name to start out with in order for that strategy to work. I don't know where he got the notion that Lamont was going to get any benefit of the doubt with an unbeaten Olympian...
