Khan will not let Floyd reach 46-0.

Just like Spinks defeated Larry Holmes to save the Rock record, Khan is going to completely outbox Mayweather to save Joe Cal 46-0

This might seem crazy, but for Pride and Country, Khan will fulfill the unthinkable dream, and keep Joe record safe:happy

Floyd might like Khan simply because Khan is still fairly popular despite all the setbacks, it's an easy win, with the bonus that Khan gives him the unique opportunity to score a highlight reel KO which normally Floyd's safety-first style has little chance of generating. If the fight is made in the UK, Floyd can also market it as spreading his brand worldwide.

As to the fans, no hardcore fan seriously wants this fight, Khan almost got stopped multiple times against a very faded Julio Diaz(who was never a great fighter in the first place) in his last fight and hasn't proven anything at Welterweight. The casual fans probably don't care much who Floyd fights if he's not fighting Pacquiao, but those that like him and those that hate him will watch anyway to some extent, Floyd's PPV sales probably drop to a little over a million vs Khan.

I guess Khan brings more money that all the 140 lbs. GBP Fighters.

Floyd likes money, and when he tasted that biggest payday against canelo, Floyd probably earned close to 80 million dollars after the canelo fight.

Im sure Floyd craving for more money like that. He see Khan as the next money making fight. And Floyd would make that fight in a hearbeat.

Only clowns do. Khan poses absolutely no challenge. He has a glass jaw, a very leaky defense and his fast twitch muscles slow up after 4 rounds or so.

An accurate Floyd right hand on the button will send him down for the count. You have people on here that question if Floyd has the power to end Khan's night when Khan's last opponent, the shopworn Julio Diaz had him in trouble. Wow...

If Mayweather wanted to end Khan in round 1, he easily could.

Khan is a waste of Floyd's time. The only way that fight makes sense is if they fight in the UK. He's got some fights left to fill in his contract so why not fight in the UK make some more $$ before he takes a risk with someone a little more dangerous. Witch is nobody! there's not a human on earth that can beat this man inside 160.

The only reason why all the fighters you mentioned were **** was because Floyd made them look like ****! He made very good solid fighters look like ****. That's how great he is. Retire after Manny? what for? He's clearly in a world of his own. Dude looks like he could fight till hes 50.

Ortiz- #3 WW behind Mayweather and Pacquiao

Guerrero- #3 WW behind Mayweather and Marquez

    Canelo- Lineal/#1 JMW

    Cotto- #1 JMW

The only one who didn't have threads written about how Floyd would never dare to fight him was Guerrero. Which still was not a bad fight. It was the third or fourth best victory any WW in the world could have achieved at that time a few months back.

Khan couldn't beat Floyd with a cricket stick.

While I do believe Khan will make it interesting with his flurries and in-out movement, I just don't see how he'll avoid getting repeatedly hit by the right hand or left hook.
At his best, he's a fast handed, instinctive fighter but his instincts aren't nearly as good, nor his reflexes as sharp, as Floyd's...

Of the fights that could actually be made, I think most Americans would rather see Mayweather v Garcia/Matthysse II
