'Knocked down' implies he was punched and went down. What actually happened is he broke his hand one his opponents face and touched that to the canvas.

do me a favour you're clutching at straws

Officially, he was 'knocked down' via hurting his own hand. Unofficially, he was knocked down via being punched in the face by ATG Zab Judah, but the knockdown wasnt called.

Either way, he's been knocked down, no matter how you cut it.

To beat Floyd you need to be Pacquiao, Hearns, SRL, prime Oscar, or maybe Winky. Otherwise, you cant beat him. There is no single strategy to it because he doesnt have a single big weakness. You can just be better than him, but thats a very limited list.

Pac can fall in with his hands down all day with the way that Powerpuff Floyd punches. Floyd's best victories are against Diego Corrales and Cotto, so if Pac is trash, Floyd doesnt have a single good victory in his 15 year career - but hey, you said it. And Arum isnt exactly the go-to boxing prophet, dumbass.

Oscar didnt get tired in his prime. You must have tuned into boxing after Floyd beat Oscar. Oscar was an entirely different fighter 10 years before that matchup, believe it or not, when you were still sucking on your mama's chest.

I think the DLH that fought at 140 might pull it off; since he still had his power and speed, and was willing and able to defend responsibly at that point in his career. But Rivero (his cornerman) would be working overtime to keep DLH in check because he'd still be missing a lot in that fight.

Pac more than likely gets mutilated, though...JMM had success with the right throughout the series, and Floyd would be landing it with even more frequency and not getting hit as much in return.

Firstly, you have to be as fast as Floyd to catch him. If you're slower than him then you won't even have a chance.

Secondly, you must have the KO power in both hands.

Thirdly, you must be accurate in throwing your punches.

no blueprint to beat Floyd :good

I wonder how he accused a midget of PED's for fighting leftovers at catchweights, instead of fighting that midget inside the ring? :patsch

This can too easily be flipped. Yes, Floyd would land with his right, and Pacquiao would also land with his left. JMM hit Pac with the straight right, and Zab Juadh and Demarcos Corley also hit Floyd with the straight left and they both had Floyd stunned. And Zab Judah and Corley are not exactly ATG's, so imagine what a Manny Pacquiao would do. Floyd would get hurt again, with more regularity.

Pac cannot be "mutilated" by Floyd - how silly. Apparently, he can be knocked out when he jumps into perfectly timed punches by PED-riddled boxers, but Mayweather cannot hurt Pac under any circumstances. Pac is the mutilator, not the mutilatee, and I dont recall the last person Floyd mutilated. Maybe Gatti.

Only Pacquiao isnt as fast as Floyd, and isnt accurate.

He's a volume puncher thats pretty predictable.

I never saw anything in Pacquiaos fight game to suggest that he could beat Floyd. Im not dissing, but I think the thought that Pac could even challenge him is a joke. He isnt a media hype, the talent is there. But the idea that he could beat Floyd is all media hype, and forum hype.
