Sunni muslims - mostly from the arab world - actually hate shia muslims (which Khan is), so they'd be happy to know Amir would lose. They certainly wont be supporting none of that with their oil money.

 

Amir Khan is not a shiite and secondly this shiite-sunni beef is nowhere near as adversarial as you paint it to be for the majority of muslims.



Back to topic.. this is a terrible fight and everyone, even non boxing fans know it. Reading all the twitter posts is quite disheartening if youre a Khan fan lol

 

Trust me this fight will never happen the media will destroy this fight be fore it ever has a chance to get rolling.
I have read 3 articles about Khan vs Mayweather and 2 of the 3 bash the fight as a total joke and the 3rd just has no comment good or bad.

 

Judging by the hype though, even though it is damning against Khan, it appears this fight has the potential to generate alllot of revenue. Khan being a p.akistani and muslim may even make it huge because the muslim world will watch eagerly whilst much of non muslim UK, will watch to see him get sparked out. Muslims have really been antagonised and hated in the UK recently so this polarisation can make for a huge event.

As a business decision, this is far better than a guerrero fight. Garcia introduces more risk to mayweather for little reward as well. No way Danny could draw in the revenue Khan will. Makes sense for Floyd to do

 

Amir Khan married a girl from my hometown the Boro of Staten Island NYC. So I asked some Pakastani and Muslim friends from the area if they knew of Amir Khan or the girl he was marrying since the story of their wedding was in the NY Post. Not one! Knew who Amir Khan was. He may have a following among Pakastanis in Britain and some Britons but that's about it, no one outside of Britain or hardcore boxing fans know who Amir is.

And I actually want the Khan-Mayweather fight. Khan is far more likely to pose a challenge than Danny Garcia. Tired of seeing May fighting slow, plodding fighters.

 

You think ****stani Amir Khan is a household name in the Arab World. That easily scores at least 9000+ more ****** points. Even if he was a Sunni, the Gulf heavily looks down on all ****stani's, and so do the Middle Easterns. Big, big time. Stop living on the geography channel and take a flight somewhere poor boy.
