golovkin isnt a huge mw. in fact there were some pix of him next to canelo at a gym and they didnt look that much different in size. ggg looks like he could get down to lmw.

froch is a seasoned smw vet and legit champ. he would go honey roy palmer on every person ggg has fought. i think froch is a bridge too far at this point.

however, scared is a stupid way to try and bait someone these days. try money, eddie.

Golovkin is a smallish MW, but Froch is also a smallish (in terms of Weight SMW) - Golovkin fights about 168-170, Froch 172-3 I think.

Good match-up size wise and stylistically I think. GGG brings more skill and power, Froch the proven grit, championship spirit and granite chin.

It's a fight that has me salivating, and shame it's not sounding like happening soon, but it was the TS, not Hearn who said Golovkin is scared - Hearn was very clear that fights are made for financial reasons ( not specifically refering to this one, but in general ).

Froch is a step too far for golovkin.

I want to see Chavez Jr in with Froch next (assuming he gets past Groves), that is the fight I wana see.

its sad that the other MW fighters don't fight 3G from various reasons.

I know 3G wants to establish himself @ MW fighting the other champions ( Quillin, Sergio and Barker ) but I think 3G shouldn't wait for these guys to the endless and try to have fights with guys from smw ( Ward, Froch, Kessler, Bika, JCC and Abraham are all good fights for 3G ). He's 30 and we don't know how much his prime will last.

3G vs Froch @ 168 would be awesome.

I highly doubt 3G is afraid of anyone in boxing.

Froch would have a huge reach advantage over Golovkin but not so much in height, if we compare with Ward's in this video:

Poor delusional Eddie. He says if he only makes 20 mistakes by noon,it's a good day.
The biggest mistake is believing that Froch could compete with a bomber like GGG.Froch would be toast and Eddie would lose his money tree.
Having saying this,I quite find Eddie an affable sort and a refreshing change from most promoters.Only DiBella comes close to being truthful as Hearn.

Froch is in for a huge payday if he beats Groves.

now that I see both these guys standing close eachother I reckon that 3G is too small to fight @ smw.

    Blah blah blah.
We've heard all this many times before, notably before the Abraham and Bute fights.
Whilst Golovkin is certainly heavy handed , he's beaten nobody on Frochs level at 160, let alone SMW.
Besides a flash KD against Taylor, Froch has never tasted canvas, yet all of a sudden this monster at 160 is going to KO a man who has arguably one of the toughest chins in boxing ?
Angulo had Rosado on ***** st for the whole of the 2nd round, and dropped him 3 times. Golovkin was unable to drop Rosado, but he will have no trouble dropping an iron chinned SMW ?
Go dig through some of the threads leading up to the Bute fight, i'm in no way making a comparison between Bute and Golovkin, but we heard all the same comments. Bute was a monster puncher, better boxer, had better defense, better movement, faster hands etc etc etc.
Golovkin is showing promise, but i'm not buying into the hype just yet, and at this point in time i think that a fight against Froch would be a big jump up.

Froch is much bigger, but I think Golovkin would stop him.
