I hope it too. Wlad should be more aggressive than usual but I think he will be. Like against Ray Austin.

Wlad´s weight is very good, he trains for speed.

Povetkin looked soft like usual. Wladimir looks great, great shape.

    Great Champion :happy:happy

I'd imagine it has more to do with his body type. Povetkin has shown before that he has decent stamina, and is pretty mobile and quick. He just doesn't seem to have the body type to get ripped.

There is no such thing as body types lol. Different ppl have different appetites, but EVERYONE can get ripped

It's all about Calories in vs calories out. U notice how everyone at an internment camp looks the same, right?

I think Wlad knows that he needs to be very sharp and have quick movement for this fight, because Povetkin is a killer on the inside with his hooks and Wlad will HAVE to stay out of range or clinch very quickly.

Um, starvation down to the bone is kind of an extreme example and not really applicable.

There is such thing as body types, and some people are more naturally predisposed to looking one way versus another.

Saw that fight. He did seem to run low pretty quickly, but Huck was also much more physical than expected. Regardless, I do not think Povetkin looks the way he does because he doesn't work out.

Shut up fool. Joe Cal couldn't look like Roy Jones given a year in Ivan Drago's training facility.
Same goes for Tyson Fury looking like David Haye. Different genes. Deal with it and shut up.

You're comparing black guys to white guys. That is a big difference in body type genetics. Wlad and Povetkin are both Eastern European white guys.

Put Joe Cal on Roy's juice and he'd look closer though

Povetkin's in good shape. Perhaps putting him in a bodybuilder pose might make him come off better. Carrying a little extra fat in the lower ab area isn't anything to rag on him over, as genetically speaking, people store fat there at different rates.

Wlad looking phenomenal like he always does is a testament to years and years of training hard and doing it the right way. Povetkin trained his damndest this fight, but training the right way for this one fight (even with a longer camp) can't undo fluctuating in shape and condition before in his prior fights. Not all guys train to get ripped, and if he were, it'd take more than this one camp to look like that unless he took the Marquez route.

What I do know is that Povetkin looks like he's in the best shape in years, which is a good sign for fans.

Fury tarined his bullox off for Haye yet could never come close to looking like David Price.

To me it looks like Povetkin actually has strong abdominal/ core muscles, only they're sheathed in a thin layer of fat. I remember Gil Clancy once stating that old time boxing trainers thought fighters with washboard stomachs couldn't take a hard body punch as well as a fighter with a midsection like Povetkin ( or Ibragimov/ Chagaev ).

it doesnt matter if you are black or white, of course american blacks are descendents of slaves who were BRED to be the biggest and strongest so they could get the most work out of them but i guess thats besides the point...
