Froch's a tough guy but Kovalev would kick his **** in.

froch leaves chin in the air too much not a good thing vs kovalev, also kovalev is naturally bigger. kovalev by ko obvious choice, but whats kovalev like past round 5 against a top fighter hard to say.

I dont know much about Kovalev but hows his chin. Im not sure he could take Frochs shots for 12 rounds but Froch will definetly be able to take Kovalevs shots for 12 rounds is debateable but Froch could knock Kovalev out before Kovalev has a chance to knock Froch out anyway

kovalev by ref stoppage...not that froch cant fight, or that he would be overly hurt(one of the most iron shinned guys in the sport)..

but i think kovalev just throws too many too fast and froch leaves himself open.....ref stoppage on account that froch does not protect himself adequately ...

that being said....ive never seen kovalevs chin tested...to be seen in the future how he stands up to getting hit flush by a hard hitter

Froch isn't anywhere near as easy to hit as people say, Kovalev hasn't done 10 rounds yet, let alone 12 against a very strong, hard hitting veteran with superb stamina, as of right now unless he stops Froch early, which he wouldn't then he gets taken into the trenches and gets beaten by experience, IF and when Kovalev does 12 rounds against a decent fighter then we can start to favour him to be able to stay with Froch late on, but anyone who thinks yo can go from never going past 8 to coping with Froch who threw 1000 punches vs Kessler just doesn't know boxing.

I would pick Froch here. Better and more proven fighter.

  10. Froch has just a overrated chin like Cleverly .. never faced a puncher, got his ass kicked by Ward and won against bigger bums like a shot Abraham and Kessler ..

Kovalev would destroy this Pole within 5 rounds.

no frochs chin has been tested, froch/pascal went 12 rounds...if you have not seen that fight, check it out...both fighterd dying from exhaustion, but neither fighter stunned, both have iron chins

I have the highest regard for Frochs resilience and sheer determination to win, but he gets hit too much. Kovalev hits too much and too hard. I see a battle royale with neither guy giving an inch but can see only one winner, Kovalev simply throws to much, too hard and too fluently.

If (and it's a real big if) Froch could do what Cleverly couldn't and ride out the storm, take Kovalev past 6 or 7, maybe, just maybe......

For me though GGG -Froch is the more interesting fight.

    Froch by beat down.

The people who are saying otherwise are the same people who said Abraham and Bute would kick his arse
