if you can't see the reason to why i'm bored of going over this ****, time and time again, then i don't know what to say to you.

no one has ran away. i have absolutely no desire to go over the same things with no end in sight. you'd keep this going without any problem what so ever. i, on the other hand, have a life.

    you're the guy that...

slags Joe off for not getting the bigger fights, even when they weren't there to make because of circumstances. but who, no matter what, makes excuses for Roy when the fights were right there in front of him.

thinks that the title makes the fighter, when it's the other way round. (i'm talking about the way you go on with this WBO ****)

claims to know for a fact that Joe wasn't watched or known in America, on the basis of forum members, who admit to being casual fans at the point in time we're talking about.

never sticks to the point. likes to use selective situations to try and make Joe look bad, and Jones look better. always!!!!

fails to acknowledge that Joe took on the big names out there when they were willing, but again makes excuses to why Jones didn't, even when they were right there to be made.

slags Joe for not traveling, but doesn't have the same insults for Jones for doing the same thing.

expects Joe to jump through hoops by going to America to fight a few Lightheavy's for less money and no guarantees of a Jones fight at the end of it all, but makes excuses for why Roy couldn't fight DM in Germany, even though there was a straight shot at the champ waiting for him.

thinks a couple of scrap articles are the full story to situations, when it's quite clear that it doesn't even cover 1 % of what happened at the time.

gets his knowledge on boxing on those very same scrappy articles that don't even begin to tell the whole story.

thinks his opinion is actual fact.

thinks you can't move up in weight and get a straight shot at the champ.

thinks Joe, by choice, took on certain fights rather than fight better guys out there. but doesn't acknowledge that when Roy did it, it was purely by choice.

puts laughing characters and thumbs up to Calzaghe haters who call him a *****, ducker and a coward, thus revealing his extreme bias.

thinks pricing yourself out of fights all the time is adequate reasons to why fights shouldn't happen. but refuses to accept ANY reasons regardless of what it is, when a certain fighter is involved.

doesn't accept Ruiz as a cherry pick, even though anyone could have predicted ( like i did) who Roy would have gone after in his pursuit to pick up a Heavyweight title.

thinks Roy would have fought Lewis if given the chance, when he couldn't even get in the ring with lesser fighters in Byrd and Vitali.

thinks beating a weak trinket holder at Heavyweight, should be seen as equal to winning THE championship from a fighter who is best in the division, one of the best pound for pound, and a certified ATG.

fails to acknowledge that Joe WAS in fact avoided by many fighters in and around his weight.

fails to acknowledge that Roy never was the real champ at any of the divisions he fought at. just a trinket holder.

shits on Joe for fighting for the vacant WBO against Eubank, but fails to acknowledge that most of the titles that Roy held were in fact vacant as well.

has no problem with Roy fighting Julio Gonzales instead of Calzaghe because he was a mandatory, even though he could have dropped that title to take on the much tougher assignment.

claims DM passed on a fight with Jones to instead take on Grandis and Hall, when the fight could have taken place if Jones had of traveled for it.

    YOU'RE THAT GUY!!

that's why i consider it to be a waste of time.

i love how you get stuck in to Joe even though there are valid reasons to why fights didn't happen. but brush it all off when it comes to Jones. a fighter that had the opportunities that Joe didn't. Hmmmmmm....

    pathetic. :deal

    Loudon read below

You see Loudon, Rico notes how you try and use your opinion as a fact

Show me where it is said Roy wasnt interested in a LHW world title. You just waffled.

What you have done is agreed that Roy was more adjusted back to LHW when Calzaghe beat him and more motivated for Calzaghe than Johnson

Think you seem to have missed some of the facts like how Johnson lost an eliminator to fight Calzaghe losing to Sheika who Calzaghe did have to fight, or that Calzaghe agreed to fight Johnson if he beat Woods in their 3rd fight and was sitting ringside only for Johnson to lose that one also.

As for Tarver, Calzaghe beat the fighter that completely schooled Tarver.

The only final bell Joe hears would be in his head while he slept on the canvas.

Funny reading all these long posts trying to defend Joe meanwhile the man admitted he never wanted tough fights.. He only fights Jones when Jones is shot to **** and had been Ko ed several times ..His actions were right in line with his words thats why Hopkins also took the rematch with. Jones. After he was Ko ed by Danny Green none of those guys wanted any part of Jones when he was on top yet we are supposed to beleive Joe wanted him when he was in his prime

Sure , I think I can sell Calzaghe fans some. Goya beans and pass them off as magic beans considering they will believe anything !
