Masternak is pushing his jab from the outside while circling wide. Drozd is throwing overhand rights countering past the jab. Combinations by Drozd at mid-range, backing Masternak up. Drozd explodes in the final thirty seconds with accurate power shots after springing in off the balls of his feet. Masternak holds.

Let's just hope they correctly rule it was from a punch (as it was) and make it a TKO2 instead of declaring a No Contest due to a phantom butt.

 

:yep ****, a year ago people were saying Masternak vs. Chakhkiev would be an upcoming mega-bout to determine the future best Cruiser in Europe...

Then in a few months, the Russian prospect got exposed by an old shopworn veteran Pole and now the Polish one might be getting exposed by a somewhat old and very inactive Russian vet.

The significant match could end up being Diablo vs. Drozd instead.
