Masternak is waving his left jab, looking to slingshot it out backhanded at Drozd from a distance. Drozd circles in close and fakes a jab, then nails Masternak near the cut eye with a fishing-line lead right. Drozd is pressuring and scores a big left hook leaping toward Masternak while backing him to the ropes. Counter hook by Masternak. 1-2 by Masternak, blocked and countered by an uppercut from Drozd driving him back. High right hands by Drozd, buzzing the top of Masternak's head. Jabs by Masternak. Reaching a nice pace and pitch here, both throwing crisp shots at short range. Right hand by Masternak. They step apart. Right to the body by Masternak. Drozd skips to his left, giving a wide swath to Masternak.

10-9 Masternak, nicked it overall though Drozd got the best punch in.

He is the one with the horrible scorecards. (at least today...but I think in general too, if memory serves :yep)

 

Round 7

Left hook by Drozd, affecting Masternak's equilibrium. Masternak is still on shaky legs as Drozd pounds him into a corner. Accurate power punches up top by Drozd. Masternak holds and pushes out to center ring. Jabs by Masternak, defensive. Drozd leads with an overhand right and gets clinched. Masternak is wrapping Drozd up with both arms. Solid right hand by Drozd. Left hook and chopping right combos by Drozd. The cut is opened up. They must stop and look at it, surely? Blood is freely pouring down Masternak's face with a minute left to go. Masternak jabs over Drozd's head but fails to move in time as Drozd charges in with a left hook and right hand.

10-9 Drozd and he probably wasn't too far off from a 10-8

68-65 Drozd

 

He did more arm-blocking in the early rounds. It seems like now that he found an offensive rhythm he feels he needn't bother. He already tasted some of what Masternak can dish out and is unconcerned.
