Tyson-Wlad's a toss up fight, each guy is the other's kryptonite. I'd love to have seen it.

a prime focused tyson wouldn't let clinchko clinch him to death he was to quick he would bob and weave passed the paw and K him TFO. 1988 tyson was in 10 times better shape, quicker and stronger than povetkin.

Tyson was too small. No match for Wlad.

Tyson, albeit one of my favorites, is the most overrated HW of all time. Great skills, poor IQ. When he stepped up, he got sparked. Some good wins but I doubt him against any big man who is talented.

Depends on the ref. If Wlad was allowed to hold at will like he did against Povetkin I think he wins the fight as well. If he isn't allowed to hold Mike would **** him up bad on the inside once he slipped Wladimir's jab.

    Would actually have been worse.

Povetkin is Valuev compared to Tyson.

He can bob and weave all he likes but he has to come in to land and he'll be tied up just as we was verses the very limited Jim Smith and eating jabs and hooks like Pov. I just done't see WK losing to such a small hw. In fact, no chance.

Yeah in Germany in USA with fair referee Mike would KO him or referee would have no other option than to DQ Wlad for excessive clinching. BTW what is the number of holds before point deduction???

Tyson lost to douglas in his prime. Douglas had a shaky chin, and will still able to frustrate Tyson with his jab and size advantage. Now imagine what Wlad a much better fighter than Douglas ever was could do to the same Tyson. Sure Wlad COULD get knocked out early, but if he could survive the early rds like Douglas did and take this into the mid-late rds he would outpoint and frustrate Tyson with his far superior jab and reach/height advantage. These are the facts deal with it :deal

Yeah because good ol' Mike was a saint in the ring! give me a break, Tyson was one of dirtiest fighters in the history of the sport! when have you ever seen Wlad bite a chunk of his opponents ear off, or attempt to break their arms? The refs would be looking out more for Tysons fouling, not Wlads!

Tyson isn't as disciplined as Povetkin. It would have either be a DQ or Wlad knock him out after getting him tired.

people mistake post tokyo tyson with the true prime 1988 mike tyson. 1988 focused disciplined tyson would have decapitated wlad, lewis, vitali even ali.
